A full set of autographs of the Rolling Stones from 1963, including the late Brian Jones, signed in pencil on the back of a blank cheque collected at Chiswick Polytechnic Dance by our vendor on Wednesday 20th November 1963. As the Stones stopped for their cigarette break our vendor asked his friend if he had any paper on him, all he had was his cheque book, of which he tore out a cheque and gave to our vendor. This amused Brian Jones and he is reported to have said '''ere Mick, look what they're getting us to write our names one??''

THE ROLLING STONES - 'LET IT BLEED' - ORIGINAL UK APPLE ACETATE RECORDING. Unprecedented to see original UK 8-track acetate LP recording from The Rolling Stones, this recording from 1969 a 'working title' for Let It Bleed. This acetate provides a fascinating insight into the Stones history in that it contains the tracks 'Sister Morphine' and 'Loving Cup'; these would not be commercially released until 1971 and 1972 on the albums 'Sticky Fingers' and 'Exile On Main St.' respectively. The track 'Loving Cup' is significantly different to the commercial release; the piano arrangement being the most notable which is far more decorative here than that was later released. The remainder of the tracks appear to be the same versions as to those commercially released, though the mix here is clearly not the 'final' version (some guitar sections are less prominent, the backing vocals at times further back in the mix). With printed paper Apple Custom Recording labels, the track listing as follows. Side One: Midnight Rambler, Love In Vain, Let It Bleed, Monkey Man. Side Two: Give Me Some Shelter (noting the track title was later amended to 'Gimmie Shelter'), You Got Some Silver Now (noting the track title was later amended to 'You Got The Silver'), Sister Morphine and Loving Cup. The record is in VG condition - there are some surface marks to the playing surfaces with the acetate slightly 'faded' though there is no real deterioration to the aluminium lacquer. There is a slight 'chip' on the run-in on a small section, though this is certainly not of a larger nature. The recording plays well throughout with a few small skips. The paper labels are in clean order, 'M' in white ink next to the 'R' in Rolling Stones, and a name (Lynne Westerman) in pen on the side 2 label. Surely a must-have for any dedicated Stones fan.

RED DWARF - Lister's (Craig Charles) Screen-matched "Man Plus" Costume ComponentsLister's (Craig Charles) screen-matched "Man Plus" costume components from sci-fi comedy TV series Red Dwarf. In the Series 4 episode "DNA", Lister asked Holly (Hattie Hayridge) to turn him into a "superhuman Man Plus" to combat the Mutton Vindaloo Beast. This cyborg warrior held a striking resemblance to RoboCop, but was barely two feet tall. Small dents, cracks and imperfections on the helmet and chest plate match this costume to the one seen on screen. The costume components consist of three fibreglass pieces: a helmet, a chest plate and a back piece, which are finished in blue-silver and black paint and feature intentional denting and distressing. The chest displays a Rolling Stones tongue and lips logo patch and part of an Apollo 13 "Ex Luna Scientia" patch, while the back has "EH! WHACK!" drawn on it in silver pen. Black tape is present around the interior edge of each piece, and the costume exhibits paint wear, paint flaking and some cracks in the fibreglass, mainly down the middle of the chest plate.Estimate: £1,000 - 2,000 M View all lots from RED DWARF (1988)Bidding for this lot will end on Sunday, November 12th.
