A cheque signed to the reverse by members of The Rolling Stones comprising Mick Jagger, Keith Richard, Brian Jones, Bill Wyman and Charlie Watts. Provenance made available to us by the vendor is as follows; The Rolling Stones played at the Granada, East Ham at the foot of the bill in October 1963, with Little Richard headlining but by their next gig there in May 1964, they were top of the bill. My mother had either been to a theatre or the cinema in East Ham and went into a café for a cup of tea, when in walked the Rolling Stones. She thought I would never forgive her if she didn't get their autographs. The only piece of paper that they had between them was a cheque from my mother's cheque book which they kindly signed. I can't imagine that they would have gone for a cup of tea at a small café when they were top of the bill but they were always peculiar so who knows?
A rare Decca acetate test recording of the 1966 The Rolling Stones LP 'Got Live If You Want It' presented on two one sided discs and in Stereo with song titles handwritten on sleeves.
