KLAUS VOORMANN (b 1938); a black and white print of the Starart Concert at the Art Garden, Venice California, signed by Klaus Voormann in pencil to the bottom middle, the poster listing acts Joni Mitchell, John Mayall and Cat Stevens, 59.5 x 41.5cm, framed and glazed, with a print of 'Der Revolver-Held' signed in silver pen by Klaus Voormann and enclosed within the frame is a letter to Steve from Klaus Voorman, which says 'Dear Steve, Thank you very much for your offer to find a Jazz Fender bass. I just want to tell you that I appreciate your help and I definitely need a bass as quick as possible. For a few days I can borrow one. But I would be happy to hear of you as quick as possible. I enjoy your playing very much. All the best from Klaus' (2).Provenance: From the collection of Stephen Knowles, bass guitarist with The Factotums, a Manchester band signed by the Rolling Stones manager. The band played with Pink Floyd, The Kinks, Tom Jones, Jerry Lee Lewis, Manfred Man and many others. CONDITION REPORT The Starart poster has a small tear to the middle bottom border, which is about 2cm in length and just creeps into the signature of Klaus. There are other creases and lines here and there throughout the poster. It is not clear if the poster has been stuck down to the white backing. General light wear at edge and perhaps lightly browned throughout. The inside of the frame is lightly grubby and the glass is also lightly grubby. The white backing sheet is slightly undulated and the frame has general wear. The smaller framed item is slightly grubby internally and externally. The print is probably a facsimile copy of the original, however the signatures is correct, signed in silver pen on top of the surface. There is an old crease to the top right corner of this.

CONDITION REPORT The LP disc does appear to have some finger marks and is lightly grubby with a few other marks. The black backing which the items are mounted onto is slightly curved. General wear to the glass and the frame. The back of the frame has a shadow where a paper label once was stuck and the backboard is undulated.

THE FACTOTUMS; four framed memorabilia panels, the first with a print of the band including all of the members, Nidge Thomas, Jeff Lees, Ian Thornton and Steve Knowles, framed with two 45rpm singles, 'In the Lonely Room' and 'You're So Good to Me', the next framing of four 45s includes 'Cloudy', which states 'Not for sale' on the label, another copy of 'Cloudy', 'Mr and Mrs Regards' and 'Driftwood', the third framing incorporates 'Here Today', 'In My Room', 'Easy Said, Easy Done' and 'Mr and Mrs Regards' A Side with an 'Emidisc Bron Associated Publishers Ltd' label and the fourth framing comprising 'I Can't Give You Anything But Love', another copy of 'I Can't Give You Anything But Love' with a pink label, a third copy of the same and the cover for 'I Can't Give You Anything But Love Absolutely Sweet Marie', overall 42 x 47.5cm (4).We have not authenticated these signatures, please satisfy yourself as to the veracity of the item prior to bidding.Provenance: From the collection of Stephen Knowles, bass guitarist with The Factotums, a Manchester band signed by the Rolling Stones manager. CONDITION REPORT All of the frames with general light wear and scratches and some residue of tape marks. The image of the band is slightly crooked in the frame and has marks at the bottom where adhesive has seeped through from the back. All of the records in their paper sleeves with general discolouration and wear to the paper. As the items are frames, it has not been possible to assess the condition of the 45rpm singles.

CONDITION REPORT The Albert Lee item has been allowed to get slightly damp and is stuck to the glass along the bottom. General wear to the frame throughout. The Carol Kaye item is lightly grubby here and there. The Chet Atkins poster has old creases from being rolled, the bottom right hand corner is creased, folded and lightly browned throughout. The silver signature is to the left of the tie.

IKE & TINA TURNER; a United Artists Records 'Nuff Said' LP bearing signatures for Ike and Tina, one inscribed 'Best wishes and love from Tina Turner', the other 'Never be a fool in love, Ike Turner', the LP with original paper sleeve, LP scratch numbered UAS-5530-A 7-31-71, framed and Perspex glazed, with an 'Access All Areas Pass' for Tina Turner New Year's Eve Concert 1999/2000 and a facsimile copy of the Oasis Lloyd Street Albert Square Full American Revue Ike and Tina Turner playbill, which also lists The Factotums (3).We have not authenticated these signatures, please satisfy yourself as to the veracity of the item prior to bidding.Provenance: From the collection of Stephen Knowles, bass guitarist with The Factotums, a Manchester band signed by the Rolling Stones manager. The band played with Pink Floyd, The Kinks, Tom Jones, Jerry Lee Lewis, Manfred Man and many others. It is believed that Stephen Knowles was on stage with Tina Turner, hence why he had the access all areas pass. CONDITION REPORT The Nuff Said album has become damp and has white mould blooming across the back and on the inside. This may clear away, but some residue will remain. General wear and scuffs throughout the cardboard sleeve and some browning. The record has a scuff to Side 1 and other small minor wear here and there. The album sleeve is generally browned throughout. Some attention may be needed to clean up the album sleeve. The backstage pass with residue of ink lettering verso and general light wear. The backboard of the frame holding the Ike & Tina Turner album is heavily damp bloomed throughout.

MANITAS DE PLATA; a signed CBS Disques printed portrait, signed on the front Manitas and also signed verso with a ballpoint ink drawing, the card framed with a photocopy of the reverse, framed and glazed as one, overall 47 x 22.5cm, together with a 45rpm single for 'Blue Suede Shoes' by Carl Perkins, signed by Carl Perkins to the lower right and inscribed to the upper left on the paper sleeve, framed and glazed (2).We have not authenticated these signatures, please satisfy yourself as to the veracity of the item prior to bidding.Provenance: From the collection of Stephen Knowles, bass guitarist with The Factotums, a Manchester band signed by the Rolling Stones manager. CONDITION REPORT The two Manitas items are loose in the frame, specks of dirt inside of the frame and general wear to the frame itself. The Carl Perkins paper s lightly browned throughout, we have inspected the signature outside of the frame and it does appear to be ink which shows stronger pooling when viewed from the inside.
