The signatures were taken on the rear of a parking ticket in Dorchester, taken by a young police officer on behalf of 14 year old Janet Webber (The Vendor), as this was all he had on him at the time.

Blue, White and Copper Red ‘Eight Immortals’ Shallow Bowl, Yuyan Shuwu Mark, 18th Century The rounded sides rising steeply towards an everted rim decorated with a double blue line border along the interior, the cavetto finely painted with the God of Longevity holding a gnarled staff affixed with a double gourd and accompanied by a deer carrying a sprig of lingzhi, the exterior decorated with a scene contained between two single blue line borders including the eight immortals, each carrying their traditional attributes, and floating above rolling waves, the whole supported on a short foot, diameter 8.1" — 20.6 cm., four-character Yuyan Shuwu mark Provenance: Chinese Porcelain from a Hong Kong Collector (lots 216-222) Purchased at auction in London during the 1980’s. Note: The mark translates to ‘library for washing ink stones’. Starting Price: $7500

ROLLING STONES (BRIAN JONES)Autograph Letter Signed - (ALS)An undated ALS (overall approx. 165x125mm) from Brian Jones, Rolling Stones guitarist, to young fan Elizabeth Benton, c. June 1965. Mounted with the original mailing envelope (postmarked 2 June 1965) and two black and white images of Jones from Rolling Stones Monthly magazine. Framed and glazed. Overall size approx. 385x335mm. An excellent single page letter from Jones (a couple of faint folds), written and signed in blue ballpoint, reading: "Dear Elizabeth, Thank you for your letter. I am very pleased to hear that you like the group. I hope you like the new L.P. Which are your favourite tracks? I`d love to know, honestly. I hope you`ll like the new E.P., when it is released. Anyway, I really must rush dear honestly. So Bye bye, Brian Jones xx".
