The boutiques became famous for selling military style clothing & for a celebrity clientele including the likes of Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton & Paul McCartney. Artist John Judkins was commissioned to design posters for the boutique, the most collectable of which are his posters for Bob Dylan & Mick Jagger. These posters are later produced by John Judkins but share the same flair and style.

ROLLING STONES - TED WOOD SCRAPBOOK INC EARLY PICS OF RONNIE. Two scrapbooks kept by artist, musician and middle of the famous Wood brothers, Ted. The scrapbooks function as an incredible insight into the London jazz scene of the 1950s/60s, with tickets, flyers, photographs and more documentation relating chiefly to Ted Wood and his related groups and projects. Includes two unseen photographs of a pre-teen Ronnie Wood playing the trumpet in 1956 (see images). Between the two folders there are approximately 170 original photographs, plus a large quantity of cuttings, flyers, tickets, many with handwritten annotations in the older of the two books. Collection of items relating to a planned but ultimately cancelled TV concert film to feature The Rolling Stones, Elton John, John Lennon, Diana Ross. Included here are would be director Michael Lindsay-Hogg's manuscript and typescript for the opening show, and a notebook with his ideas for the show, two original luggage labels for the Stones' 1970 European tour, correspondence relating to the New York Museum of the Performing Arts accepting footage from Lindsay-Hogg's Beatles and Stones films.
