SCOTTISH SCHOOL (19TH CENTURY) PORTRAIT OF A GENTLEMAN Oil on canvas, 76 x 63.5cm (30 x 25") Condition Report: There are noticeable all four stretcher bar lines recto with a small amount of paint loss on them in the bottom left hand corner area. There is light to moderate cracking most notably over the left portion of the face coat collar, tunic, most of the top left and bottom left hand quarter areas. Areas of damage with subsequent retouching are apparent over the upper area mostly over the head and in the bottom right hand corner area.
