BERNARD LEACH. A Bernard Leach celadon glazed porcelain, hexagonal lidded box. Impressed personal & Leach Pottery mark. Width 7.5cm. Provenance: Formerly the property of Mary 'Boots' Redgrave. CONDITION REPORTS: The pot is in generally good condition, with no chips, cracks or any signs of repair. Provenance: The pot was once the property of Mary "Boots" Redgrave of St. Ives and has come to his via a member of the family.
JOHN BEDDING. A John Bedding Leach Pottery porcelain cut-sided bowl. Impressed personal & Pottery marks. Diameter 24cm, height 12cm. CONDITION REPORTS: This John Bedding, St. Ives bowl is in good condition, although, to be critical, there are some creases and small pin holes in the glaze, inherent with the pottery process.

A rare documentary Leach Pottery Michael Cardew jug. The red body incised through slip 'Bessie Stevens 1926', impressed seal marks, height 12cm. Provenance: Bessie Stevens was the granddaughter of a close friend of Hamada 'Old Bassett' (Thomas). They fished together and this jug was made to celebrate the birth of his granddaughter. (See illustration) Condition Report: Crazing around join of handle, good condition.
