CECIL BAUGH (1908-2005); a multi-necked stoneware sculpture, streaky blue and turquoise glaze, painted signature and date of 1996, height 36cm (D). Baugh was Jamaica's most influential potter. Between 1948-50, he worked at the Leach Pottery and also at Barn Pottery (with Margaret Leach). Provenance: Purchased from The St Ives Ceramics Gallery, c. 2000.
