General Catalogue, light soiling, modern cloth preserving part of upper wrapper as label on upper cover, Birmingham, 1929 § Spratt's Patent Limited, London. 1919 List of Game Foods, Dog Foods, Appliances and Sundries, with calendar noting sporting seasons, blotting paper, order forms and loosely-inserted article on dry-feeding for pheasants, original printed wrappers with illustration mounted on upper cover, punched hole and string loop to upper left corner for hanging, 1929 § Hays (Alfred), London. The Gramophone as supplied to H.M. The Queen, colour illustrations, light water-staining to upper outer corner, stitched in original printed wrappers, a little stained and frayed at edges, [c.1908], all with illustrations, rubbed, 4to (4)⁂ Ford & Medley, Ltd. was founded in 1879 and manufactured cutlery, electroplate, knives and razors at their Wizard and Emu Works, closing in the early 1930s. The Newman & Field catalogue features a wide range of household metalware from saucepans to wheelbarrows including cooking utensils, corkscrews, cutlery, lamps, compasses, binoculars, locks and boat fittings. This is presumably the same company that was founded in 1870 and now operates in Walsall in the pleasure boat industry. Spratt's was the world's first large-scale manufacturer of dog biscuits, launched in London in about 1860 by an American entrepreneur from Cincinnati; Spratt's Patent Ltd. was registered in 1885. Charles Cruft, who later started the famous dog show, began work as a postboy at Spratt's and was responsible for developing the business and expanding into selling accessories and medications for dogs and later game. In 1907 Queen Alexandra granted a Royal Warrant to the Gramophone Company having purchased an 'His Master's Voice' gramophone for Sandringham.

Original vintage travel advertising poster for the district of Diekirch, part of the Grand-Duchy of Luxembourg, described here as the cradle and centre of the Tourism of Luxembourg (Diekirch - Berceau & Centre du Tourisme Luxembourgeois). It features a fantastic artwork by Gerson showing a scenic view of the river Sure running across the green countryside of the Diekirch district with a couple of bridges crossing the river to connect villages sitting on the river banks. In the background, some small mountains can be seen. The image is inserted inside a map of Luxembourg with small drawings on the edge of the map showing people undertaking different activities, including fishing, swimming, cooking, playing tennis and hiking. Published by the Diekirch Tourism Board and printed in Luxembourg by Imp. Art. Ed. Huss & Cie. Condition: Fair condition, folds, staining, creasing.. Country of printing: Luxembourg , designer: R. Gerson, size (cm): 99.5x63.5, year of printing: 1950s.

Thomas Pyke, Bridgwater, a large four pint skillet: the handle cast T.P.B.WATER IX, raised on three peg feet, 48cm long.*Note graduated skillets from I to V are well known but this is probably the only recorded IX at present. Thomas Pyke C1742-1830, a major West Country brass-founder, gun and bell founder, twice Mayor of Bridgwater, banker and was declared bankrupt in 1815. *Note Ref. A very small mid 17th Century bronze skillet: on tapering legs with hoof feet, the handle cast 'Tho Palmar' with open brace below, 21.5cm long.*Note Thomas Palmar, bell and pot founder, Canterbury 1641-1670.
