19th/20th Century French Games Compendium Set: Produced by JLR Paris consisting of various Games Dominoes, Draughts, Chess, Roulette, Mah Jong, Horse Racing Game, Card Games and more all contained in a wooden and Card 2 Draw Case each game having separate Boxes. Appears nearly complete with original Games (please note Box has some damage and Missing 1 Carrying Handle from Side all thing that can be addressed)
Rare WWII – Game Tak Tik Wehr Schach: 1940 produced by Verlag die Wehrmacht a German game based on the idea of ~Military Chess~ box intact in good condition but having some marks and remainder of a sticker with original rules (in German) present apparently complete playing pieces and board. This is the rarer reduced sized version of this game produced for the troops on the front line to play in their spare time. It is also unusual because the playing pieces are made from Bakelite. At this time board games in Britain were still using wooden pieces.

He reached his objective and brought heavy fire to bear on them as they retreated. Though wounded, he would not leave his post until it was securely consolidated. Cased chess set by Lund, Fleet Street London, with ebony and boxwood pieces, rosewood and satinwood board and mahogany case. the case measures 27.5cm wide. Condition report; Chips to the turned knops on the following pieces: Black knight. White bishop. Black King and Queen (very minor nicks) Seven black and one white pawns. The case has splits at the hinges and signs of wear use and age.
AMENDMENT TO CATALOGUE PAMELA GREENWOOD (not Bill Marshall), Leach Pottery The porcelain chess set, one side celadon, the other pale tenmoku glazed. Each king appears to be a miniature vase.
