Rare WWII – Game Tak Tik Wehr Schach: 1940 produced by Verlag die Wehrmacht a German game based on the idea of ~Military Chess~ box intact in good condition but having some marks and remainder of a sticker with original rules (in German) present apparently complete playing pieces and board. This is the rarer reduced sized version of this game produced for the troops on the front line to play in their spare time. It is also unusual because the playing pieces are made from Bakelite. At this time board games in Britain were still using wooden pieces.
