A 19th century mahogany games compendium with turned wood chess pieces and lead jockey and horse pieces**CONDITION REPORT**Chessmen good and complete; chessboard used to fold into two halves but now the fold is broken so the board is in two detached sections. Five lead racehorses (one missing); paint worn, all with missing leg-parts; one lead fence with worn paintwork.Case - upper tray is empty suggesting some contents missing; case is pine with several old scars, scratches and general wear; no key.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place.
