Some areas of moth tracking but generally still a good originally badged battle dress blouse.

WW2 British Women’s First Aid Nursing Yeomanry (FANY) Battle Dress Blouse, fine example tailored in the female style, complete with bronze FANY collar badges, blue on maroon FANY shoulder titles and maroon insignia to the shoulder straps. British Commonwealth Forces formation sign to one arm and the other with Union Jack formation sign. Interior with the original size label, the label has been damaged around the date area but it appears to be 1945. Generally good condition.
WW2 British Home Front Civil Defence Battle Dress Blouse, good example of the blue wool battle dress jacket badged to CD Light Rescue units in Woolwich. Medal ribbons to the breast for WW1 service. The 1945 dated interior label shows it was originally an Austerity pattern Army khaki battle dress, possibly worn for the 1946 Victory Parade. Generally good condition.
WW2 German Luftwaffe Other Ranks Flieger Blouse, blue / grey wool cloth tunic with concealed button front. Machine embroidered Luftwaffe other ranks tunic breast eagle, flight section collar patches and shoulder straps with NCO’s tress. NCO’s tress to the collar also. Interior with blue / grey cloth lining which has ink issue stamps and marked with “L.B.A 43”. Tunic remains in generally very good condition.

A early to mid-1950s apel pink linen mix blouse by Naomi. It has pointed revers and fagotting detailing down the front, four iridescent buttons and short sleeves. A Salzburger dirndl- look, size 14. A Lovett green cotton midi length dress, pintucking detailing on the bodice and a scoop neckline edged in rickrack as are the short sleeves. It comes with a matching belt with s decorative buckle. The belt is also edged in rickrack. It has 12 decorative pewter-coloured buttons at the front closure. A Kai-Ming jade green dress in cotton fabric with a decorative jade embroidered neckline. The short sleeves are pintucked as are the hem line. The dress is midi in length. (3)

1953 Banned Maco pin ups magazine of Marilyn Monroe. Recalled by publisher. Ten full page colour photographs (11 including the cover) and 19 black and white photos, listing 'Facts' about Marilyn. French school, end of the 18th century."Portrait of a lady and a gentleman.Oil on canvas.The male portrait has been re-coloured.On the back, on the stretcher, there is a label with the name of the sitters: "Colin de Corcelles and Esabeau Du Bois".They show faults and tears.Measurements: 70 x 56,5 cm.Couple of portraits, probably a married couple. He, with grey hair, wears a green doublet with a lace blouse showing through the sleeve. She covers her head with a cotton cap with a pleated rim and decorated with a ribbon. Both portraits are rendered in a naturalistic language, seeking to convey the realism of the weather-beaten features without idealising them.

Maruxa Fondevila (Pontevedra, 1978)Recreation of the outfits that appear on three different covers of "Vogue" magazine illustrated by Eduardo García Benito (Valladolid, 1881 - 1981).The images that illustrate this lot correspond to the wonderful photographs that Joan Tomás took for La Suite Subastas. They are part of a session made with the aim of bringing the dresses we auction to life.Three dresses. The detail of each of the dresses is:Dress 1: The body is made of white crepe on which three rows of fringes are sewn, forming waves. The neckline is formed by strips of rhinestones sewn on mink-coloured tulle; and the skirt comprises five sand-coloured crepe ruffles forming peaks in the front and back centre. On the peaks and on the side are tulle godets embroidered with pale pink sequins and the same fabric as the godets is affixed to the ruffles.The accessories include wristbands with three fringe ruffles each and a necklace of rhinestone strips to match the ones on the neckline of the dress.It is accompanied by a maroon velvet, double-breasted coat with great swing and wide sleeves. The neckline area and the edge of the cuffs are trimmed with imitation grey fox fur.Dress size 1: 38-40 Europe, 10-12 UK, 8-10 USA, 40-42 France. Due to the shape of the dress, it would fit a size 42 Europe, 14 UK, 12 USA, 44 France. Length measurements: 110 cm. The coat is adaptable to any size.Dress 2: The top part is a blouse and its skirt is in two sections that close like an apron, thus making it adjustable to several different sizes. It is made of very fine tulle dotted with dusky pink pearls on pink crepe that gives the dress body.It is accompanied by a cape made of mauve-pink wild silk embroidered with rhinestones and sequins in the same colour range. The neck is embroidered with crystal paillettes in a stronger shade of pink, with two strips of pink chiffon forming the bow that closes the cape.
