WW2 RAMC 11th Armoured Division Battledress Blouse and Cap. Uniform A rare as worn example of the 1940 pattern Battledress Blouse. To each arm RAMC shoulder titles, printed on felt 11th Armoured formation badges and RAMC arm of service. The right cuff with service chevrons and an unusual crimson RAMC band. Medal ribbons indicate service through North West Europe. The interior with issue label and WD stamp indicating 1942. Accompanied by a 1922 pattern Other Ranks cap retaining original RAMC plastic economy cap badge. Overall GC (2 parts)
Austrian 1918 Artillery Field Grey Blouse Service Tunic A Good scarce example of grey cavalry twill material. The interior is unlined except for quilting in shoulders, this with a tailors label for Wien ink name and date 9 January 1918. Fly front and external flaps to pockets. Stand-and-fall collar with large scarlet cloth patches to ends. Artillery button to shoulder-loop. Minor moth nips, good clean condition.
Austrian Officer's fly-fronted Field Grey blouse (service tunic). Good scarce example bearing scarlet collar-patches with wide gold lace and a single rank star, and unlined sleeves. Some small overall moth holes. Good clean condition. Fitted with two WWI bronze medals attached on the left breast by triangularly-folded ribbons. The senior medal, with red/grey striped ribbon, bearing the head of the Emperor Karl I on the obverse, the reverse inscribed LAESO MILITI and dated MCMXVIII; the junior medal, on a red and white striped ribbon, in the form of a Maltese cross, the obverse bearing the Royal and Imperial crowns side by side above the initial C, and inscribed VITAM ET SANGVINEM MDCCCCXVI, the reverse GRATI PRINCEPS ET PATRIA - CAROLUS IMP ET REX.

A cream lace blouse with a low neckline and short sleeves, peplum waistline with a pink ribbon threaded through inbuilt waistband, 4 buttons, c.1914-18. A polka dot tulle blouse with yoke and lace bodice, back fastening, short sleeves, the hemline is structured to fit into a skirt, c. 1918-19. (2)
An early 1950s pale pink Normal Hartnell dress with lapel collar trimmed in royal blue ribbon, as are the short turn-up sleeves, three buttons and middle section of the dress has a diamond pattern design, two deep pleats at hemline, belt loops, missing belt, side fastening with metal zip, shoulder pads. Mid 1930s crepe blouse in a cream and black swirl fabric and pale pink embroidered circle design, sleeves are gathered into a cuff, peter pan collar. A late 1930s black crepe dress with piping detail on the sides, the back has piping also running down the length of the dress, the sleeves fan out from the elbow and are in a mustard colour with a leather art deco insert (left side of dress has a mark). Edwardian blouses to include a cream silk blouse with a scalloped neckline, with white work floral embroidery, 3/4 length sleeves, the cuffs and hem are embroidered and scalloped also, opening from the left shoulder fastens with hooks & eyes, the back of the blouse has two panels of faggoting. Another silk blouse early 1900s, high tulle neckline decorated with french knots, the yoke is embroidered and the back is decorated also with embroidered flowers, french knots and lace, full length sleeves are gathered below the elbow and the cuffs are double layered fans of tulle and lace. Another Edwardian blouse in a polka dot tulle fabric, small lace collar and two tier cuffs in lace and tulle, the bodice comes to a point at the front, c.1910. (3)

An early 1980s jacket, based on a vintage design, fitted with long tapered sleeves, metallic effect woven fabric with leaves and small florals pater, ruched and backed to achieve a stand up design. WW2 British Uniform, Headdress and Document Grouping of Captain Dawson Royal Engineers, Beach Groups with D-Day Invasion Maps, superb and comprehensive grouping belonging to Captain Dawson, a veteran of WW1 and serving as part of Beach Groups in the Royal Engineers, landing on D-Day on 6th June 1944. The grouping consists of his original four pocket officers service dress tunic, battle dress blouse with regimental shoulder titles and British army in France formation signs, KD four pocket tunic (no insignia or buttons), officers service dress peaked cap with bronze OSD cap badge, 2x field service caps, various items of equipment and a large archive of documents covering his service in both WW1 and WW2. Amongst the paperwork archive is his original ‘TOP SECRET’ invasion maps of the Normandy beaches with the beaches and areas having the names changed for counter intelligence purposes. Other items include maps of the Normandy area, formation sign for the RE beach groups, etc. A truly superb complete grouping which has come from direct family descent. Grouping in need of personal viewing due to the size of the archive.
