A dark green wool suit jacket and matching skirt as seen worn by Bette Davis in the film Where Love Has Gone co-starring Susan Hayward (Paramount, 1964).A well-tailored three-piece ensemble designed by legendary costume designer Edith Head for Bette Davis as Mrs. Gerald Hayden. The story many believe to be based on the murder of Stompanato, Lana Turner's lover who was stabbed by her daughter Cheryl Crane. Bette Davis plays the matriarch "Mrs. Gerald Hayden" who is seen wearing this ensemble when she shows the then newly-wed Millers, an apartment she purchased for them in San Francisco.PROVENANCE Originally from The Collection of Debbie Reynolds
