A VICTORIAN FIVE STONE GARNET RING The five graduated cushion cut garnets in cut down claw settings, with scrolled sides, and scrolled foliate engraved shank; together with a pair amethyst and seed pearl ear pendants, the circular cut amethyst pediments with belcher link suspension chains, to a seed pearl hoop and circular cut amethyst drop, with later screw fittings Size/dimensions: finger size O 1/2; ear pendants 2.9cm long Gross weight: 3.2 grams Condition Report: The ring has had some wear, the shank has been replaced, it has a Birmingham 1870 hallmark, there is wear to the shank commensurate with age and use, some of the detail has worn off to the back, there is some pitting to the gilding, one the garnets has had a couple of claws rubbed off, the garnet may have been reset and it is brighter than the others, the foiling behind the other stones is duller.
