A good signed and inscribed colour 7 x 7 printed reproduction of Warhol`s famous silkscreen entitled Marilyn (1967), being a promotional image for a limited edition of 250 published by Factory Additions. Shepard Fairey rose to fame by repeatedly pasting stickers and paste-ups of his image of ÒAndrŽ the Giant Has a PosseÓ around the world in 1989. His sticker and paste-up campaign naturally evolved into the ÒObey Giant,Óas depicted by this rare work `Obey Pole Wood`, and and has marketed his career transitioning to clothing, accessories, skateboards, and more. The initial purpose of the Obey Giant campaign was to inspire curiosity and cause people to question their relationship in regard to society and their surroundings.

Shepard Fairey (American, b.1970) Glen Danzig, 2003, Silkscreen printed in colours on canvas, signed, dated and numbered 2/2 in pencil lower right, 582 x 428 mm (22 3/4 x 16 3/4 in) Provenance: Private Collector, UK. Glenn Danzig was the lead singer of infamous New York punk band ÒThe MisfitsÓ, and later as lead singer of ÒSamhainÓ and the band ÒDanzigÓ. He was instrumental in the overall design of the Misfit`s Horror/Punk image and designed the globally recognised Fiend Skull logo, as well as writing the majority of the lyrics for their early material. Born and raised in Lodi New Jersey, he is known for his distinctive baritone voice earning him the amusing moniker ÒThe Evil ElvisÓ.

* Stephen Bartlett (b.1942) Silkscreen `Guam 19` Signed in pencil lower right 43" x 63 1/2" Bears International Art Consultants Label verso . Bartlett studied at The Royal College of Art where he was awarded both a silver medal and the college prize. His work is at once traditional and original . He acknowledges influences from the English watercolourists, Japanese art and the Cubist method of fragmentation, as well as the work of Ben Nicholson.
