A Pair of Victorian White Painted Cast Iron Garden Urns, moulded with stiff leaves on flared square section columns, 70cm high; and A White and Brown Painted Twin-Handled Trough, 68cm wide (2)Pair of urns - planters are detached. A 19th century oil on canvas of a grey horse, in a gilt frame, 74cm x 62cm This horse was one of the last horses to pull a stage coach from Glastonbury to Cannards Grave in Somerset through West Compton. West Compton was a thriving Village and bigger than Pilton, which is now the route from Glastonbury to Cannards Grave.West Compton had a Public House and Church and did a lot of Sheep trading. A stone trough was found that was used in the time of The Black Death to pass coins into vinegar to sterilize for passing them from one person to another.West Compton was a staging post to change horses for the final uphill run to Cannards Grave.
