(39cm.) high (some wear and repairs to pads) - possibly made by Farnell or a good quality manufacturer, similar in style to the Steiff polar bear which was first manufactured in 1908

(40cm.) high (balding to head and front, pads re-covered and general wear); and a catalogue for the Bonham’s sale in 1995 - this bear was lot 524 and still retains his tag, in the catalogue he is listed as a 1920s Steiff!
