Two Royal Crown Derby Plates In Aves Design Comprises large decorative cabinet plate produced exclusively for Derby County Borough Council 1888 - 1974. Also a Fluted edged salad plate in the same design. Hand decorated 22 carat gold, the Aves range depicts Chinoiserie birds and foliage in gold on white ground. The design has been adapted from an embroidery pattern by painter, Albert Gregory. Both in very good condition.
