ROYAL DOULTON; three large sized character jugs to include Bacchus, Lord Nelson, and further ceramics to include a Royal Crown Derby hand painted twin handled pedestal vase, Victorian majolica teapot, Royal Copenhagen etc.Additional InformationOne of the Copenhagen dishes has a large chip, the Majolica teapot is crazed with a chip on the spout, also chipping to glaze. The two pieces of 19th century hand painted are both broken and parts are missing, also each piece is cracked.

Crown Derby plaque has wear to the gilding throughout and light scratches to the glaze. The fin on the Poole dolphin has been broken and glued back. A 19th century hand painted porcelain dressing tray with small jar and candlestick with matching decoration, tray 27 x 20cm, (af and restored), and further floral decorated ceramics comprising four plates with underglaze blue crown and interlocking C marks, diameter of each 24.4cm, a jug inscribed 'Thomas Harnsel 1837', and two mugs 'Thos Noden 1858' and 'Mary Noden 1858' (all three af), a Limoges floral enamelled box, a Wedgwood 'Blueboy' plaque, a Royal Crown Derby Imari decorated twin handled bowl, pattern No.1128, width 13cm, and a reproduction air twist wine glass.Additional InformationThe tray has been restored, small candle stick with small chip and further fritting to base, some further damage to the central section. Some rubbing to the painted decoration and gilding, heavy crazing as well especially to the candlestick. The plates also have pronounced rubbing to the enamelled decoration, one with multiple chips to the rim and large firing crack. One plate has chips to the foot rim, all with manufacturing imperfections, some heavy kiln dirt under the glaze and some surface pitting. All three of the named and dated wares have cracks, some poor restoration and heavy wear to the detail. The Limoge box with some slight rubbing to the surface. The Blueboy plaque similar. Crown Derby bowl crazed, light general throughout.
DERBY; a small group comprising pair of floral painted cabinet plates with gilt highlights on dark blue ground, diameter 22cm, pair of shaped Imari palette decorated and gilt heightened bowls, 19.5 x 25cm, two further floral decorated bowls (af) and an urn vase (af), these with painted marks to bases, further similar floral decorated ceramics, two Royal Crown Derby Imari decorated plates, smaller dish and teacup, all pattern no.1128 and three pot lids (badly af).Additional InformationBoth early Derby plates with no visible hairline cracks, but hollow rings. Both shaped bowls with better rings, but both of these heavily scratched to surface and underside, with extensive firing imperfections and kiln dirt and pitting. Both of the floral decorated shaped bowls mentioned after the Imari bowls have hairline cracks. All of the other 18th and 19th century ceramics in this lot badly af, numerous cracks and serious damage and losses throughout. Two of the pot lids completely cracked all the way through, one with chip to underside. The Royal Crown Derby items all ring true with no visible hairline cracks and some light surface wear.

Capodimonte bird with blue flowers - three losses to foliage. Royal Crown Derby robin - has been neatly restored (has been knocked off its legs). Royal Worcester snuffer - tiny firing crack and minuscule loss to base. Other models appear to be free of damage and restoration.
