A Royal Crown Derby tea set, comprising two large dished plates, 10 cups, 10 saucers, 12 side plates and sugar basin, mostly marked 1128 by hand and with Royal Crown Derby England printed mark (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: All pieces in this lot are in extremely good condition with no chips, no damage, no repairs and no restoration. They have clearly only ever been used as cabinet plates and other than the odd very minor gilding scratch they are in first class condition.
A Royal Crown Derby 1128 pattern tea service, comprising teapot, sugar basin and cream jug. Tallest 18.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The sugar basin and cream jug are in good condition with no issues. The teapot does have a large hairline crack just above the foot rim which runs +/- 40% of the way around the base. This is a shame as the teapot does not to appear to have ever been used.
A Royal Crown Derby dressing table set, in typical Imari colours comprising pair of candlesticks, ring stand, tray, lidded vessel with stand, two rectangular pin dishes (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The tray is in generally good order with no chips, no repairs and no restoration. It does have some surface scratches to the centre panel and some rubbing to the gilding. The gilding is a little dull in places also. The two rectangular dishes, the ring tree and the lidded casket are all in extremely good order with no chips, no damage, no repairs and no restoration. There is no significant rubbing to the gilding. One candlestick is in generally good condition with no chips, no damage, no repairs and no restoration. The bottom blue and gilt panels with less hatching are rubbed through the scroll pattern. The accompanying candlestick has been broken below the second knop and re-glued and the same comments apply to the discolouration on the base panels.
