One urn has tulip style gilding to the base and the other carnation style gilding. Apart from the broken handle and some rubbing to the gilding probably due to the age there are no cracks or chips to either, both 4'' tall.
DOULTON LAMBETH FAIENCE BUTTERFLY VASE BY SUSANNA SANDERSON, 11cm, and Royal Crown Derby mazarine blue and gilt vase and cover, 10cm (2)looking at the butterfly vase, when looking at the rim of the vase there are certain areas that are rough to the touch, something does not feel right, it’s not a consistent smooth feeling.I have asked a few other people here and they agree with me that it may have had some restoration work. If it has, it has been done to a high standard. The crown derby has no damage, just gilt wear to the rim of the vase and on the top of the lid.
