A Victorian Staffordshire pottery flatback figural group of King John signing the Magna Carta in a tent flanked by two children, 30.5cm high CONDITION REPORT: The King's left hand has been restored, as has the pen in his right hand and the finial on top of the tent. There is restoration to the lower section and base but I am unable to tell whether it's covering severe cracks or a breakage. The glaze is crazed and there are cracks running along the inside of each of the children, with other cracks to the base also.
Small but useful collection on pages incl 1854 1d black used (3), 1854-55 4d blue (shades) x 6, one appears unused but likely to have cleaned pen cancel, another with pre-printing paper crease, 1s salmon used by numeral in brown (this defective and repaired), 1s pale brown, also used, later issues incl 1882-85 crown CA 4d carmine and 6d lilac unused, 1885-93 to 1s olive-green unused, 1902-11 10s deep mauve unused, also this and £1 orange-brown used but defective, other odds incl Coolgardie Cycle Express 2s and 5s unused, cond very mixed as often (Scores)

THE BEATLES - PLEASE PLEASE ME 6TH MONO - Nice pack of two early UK pressings of Please Please Me and Sgt. Peppers. To include a 6th UK mono pressing of the debut Beatles release (PMC 1202). The record is in clean Ex+ condition with a very minor wispy mark on side 1 (going across the tracks 4,5 and 6). The sleeve (small 'mono') is in Ex condition with a small nick on the reverse of the sleeve and a name written in pen. Also to include a -1/-1 pressing of Sgt. Peppers. The record is in Ex condition with a couple of light marks, with the sleeve also Ex with only wear. With cut out.
AUDIENCE - Two more original pressing early LPs from Audience. Titles are Friend's Friend's Friend (pink scroll CAS 1012, superb Ex+ vinyl/VG sleeve with only light wear but marker pen on front) and The House On The Hill (CAS 1032, close to archive vinyl with hardly any markings and a nice strong Ex sleeve).
ROLLING STONES - Two very well presented early UK pressings of the eponymous debut release and No. 2. S/T (Decca mono flipback LK 4605) has the early 'Mona' track listing on both record and sleeve. The record is in Ex condition with just a few light marks. The sleeve is Ex with light ringwear. No. 2 is the original 1964 UK pressing (unboxed Decca LK 4661 mono) with 1A matrix codes, non flipback cover, long blurb and original wording of 'Blind Man' and 'Put The Boot In' that were later censored. The record is in super Ex+ condition with just one or two very minor marks. The sleeve is Ex with some minor laminate wear and a name on the reverse (pen).
