Leather travel hat box, containing two silk top hats, one by A.J. White, the other by Tress and Co. retailed by Smith & Son Chester, the outer case with Cunard Line labels and others, one dated 1890, the case measures 38cm high Condition report: The A.J. White hat shows signs it has been worn from the inside, there is an owners name written in pen. The exterior is in good condition with no signs of damage or wear. Whilst there is no size measurement inside the hat the internal circumference is 55cm The Smith &Son hat shows more signs of wear to the inside as well as foxing spots to the silk. , there is a couple of scuffs to the inner rim. The top of the hat has a scuff to the edge of the outside however this is very minor and difficult to illustrate in a photograph. The interior circumference is 54.5cm The case has both the retaining strap or hinge strap and the buckle strap broken, the leather on these straps has perished. There are many scuffs and signs of wear from use to both the exterior and interior.

WW2 SOE Issue Fountain Pen/ Stabbing Knife Issued to SOE Agent Beatrice Jackman. An extremely rare attributed example, carried by SOE Agent Beatrice Jackman. The fountain pen when the cap is unscrewed reveals a raised central rib doubled edged narrow leaf shape 3 inch blade. The side of the pen has the makers details “Savoy made in England” and it is believed that she carried this pen when working as a SOE translator in Stockholm. Minor age wear to the blade Overall GC. From the estate of the late SOE Agent Beatrice Jackman, who in 2011, Bosleys had the privilege of selling her scarlet evening dress made for the material of a Nazi Flag Drape taken form the Berlin Reichstag in 1945. #11;Beatrice Jackman was living in Denmark at the beginning of the war, following the invasion of her country in 1940, she began her Resistance work with hiding shot down aircrew, recruited into SOE Denmark in 1941 she was involved with the attack on the German HQ records department at Copenhagen in the winter 1942-1943. Making contact and helping Danish Jews in 1943 she had to make a fast escape to Sweden and here she continued to work with SOE as a translator in Stockholm. After the war she returned to Denmark. Beatrice settled in the UK and her sound recordings of her time with SOE are held by the Imperial War Museum.
A George IV mahogany and brass mounted writing slope, the hinged lid centred with a vacant plaque, the interior with a later baize lined writing surface with a pair of lidded compartments, a pen tray and a pair of inkwells, with a pair of gilt brass sconces, with a lift-out compartment with a sunken brass handle revealing rulers and a Highclere Castle game card dated 1895, with a secret spring loaded panel revealing drawers, with a brass lock stamped 'TURNERS W-H. ... TON, PATENT', with sunken side carrying handles, 17.5cm high, 50.3cm wide.
