* JOHN BELLANY CBE RA HRSA (SCOTTISH 1942 - 2013), GARDEN FLOWERS oil on canvas, signed 120cm x 90cm Framed. Note: After Bellany's 1988 life-saving liver transplant, his room at Addenbrooke's Hospital became full of flowers and plants sent by family, friends and loved ones. Bellany had escaped death and these flowers symbolized and celebrated ''life''. Bellany convalesced at Little Eversden, Cambridgeshire where he began a series of still life paintings, a subject which he'd never focused on before. This fine composition is a celebration of life, of family and of colour. Private Ayrshire collection.

An early 18th Century silver pair cased pocket watch, the single fusee movement by Charles Cabrier of London, the shallow convex white enamel dial with Roman and Arabic numerals, housed within an embossed outer case decorated with figures in a garden setting, inscribed "Mauris Fecit" CONDITION REPORTS Some light surface scratches and scuffs to the glass. Scratches and accretions on the enamel dial. Surface scratches, some scuffs and knocks to the silver case and some tarnishing. There are two areas of the outer casing that do not sit flush - there is a small gap between both sides of the outer case.
