Painted in bright enamels to the interior with a central roundel enclosing a ribboned seashell and encircles by stiff leaves, surrounded by four medallions with alternating depictions of a garden with flowers and lingbi stone and seashells amid crashing waves, further decorated with seashells and architectural designs, all below a band of flowers against a diapered ground, the exterior with evenly spaced flowers on leafy vines, the recessed base with an apocryphal Kangxi-style mark within a double circle.Condition: A segment of the rim has been reattached with hairlines visible, minor fritting to rim, some wear to enamels, firing flaws.Provenance: From an old family collection in Pressburg, Austrian Empire, Slovakia, and thence by descent to the present owner.Weight: 581 gDimensions: Diameter 27.5 cm

The lobed shallow sides rising from a short, tapered foot to a leaf-shaped rim, painted in bright enamels with a central roundel enclosing a qilin and phoenix in a flower garden, encircled by lappets following the shape of the rim and enclosing qilins and phoenixes along with flowers and a crane, the exterior with similar lappets enclosing various flowers on leafy stems, the recessed base with a Kangxi-style floral mark within a double circle.Condition: Several minor chips and frits along the rim and to the foot, a larger chip to the rim with material filling and touchups.Provenance: From an old family collection in Pressburg, Austrian Empire, Slovakia, and thence by descent to the present owner.Weight: 178.3 g Dimensions: Diameter 16.5 cm

The lobed sides rising from a short, tapered foot to a barbed rim, the exterior molded with lappets and painted with flowers and auspicious symbols, the interior with a central roundel enclosing a scene of a seated dignitary and his attendant in a fenced garden under a tree, encircled by alternating flowers and auspicious symbols as well as flowers growing from leafy stems below the rim, the recessed base with an apocryphal six-character Chenghua mark.Condition: The dish was broken into two pieces and put back together with hairlines and small touchups visible, drilled for wall mounting, minor fritting to rim and foot.Provenance: From an old family collection in Pressburg, Austrian Empire, Slovakia, and thence by descent to the present owner.Weight: 299 gDimensions: Diameter 21.5 cm
A SMALL TEAPOT WITH GARDEN SCENE, TWO SMALL BOWLS WITH SAUCERS AND TWO DESSERT PLATESChina, Qing dynasty (1644-1912), 19th century. Blue and white porcelain. A distinctive teapot with a spherical form on a ring-shaped foot, curved handle and slightly vaulted lid, on each of which is a peach - symbols for the desire for a long life. Similarly, the decorative rocks placed in the foreground on the sides were clear-ly shaped like ruyi-forms, that is, in the form of the magical longevity mushroom. Large peonies in the gardens - a symbol of prosperity.
