Ayres Ltd booklet guide, together with additional pieces including seventy-five mother of pearl game counters, four dice, seven bone cubes marked 1-6, and one decorated with a gavel, twenty-eight bead counters, a hand written word game, and a game of Toto with instructions, case 34 by 24.5cm and 17.7cm high.

The attractive picture cards show trades and occupations, for example: An artisan; A merchant; A fabricant; A burg-master; A jurist. The accompanying text cards bear various proverbs and maxims, such as: 'As the fool thinks,/The bell clinks'; 'He that cannot pay/Let him pray'; 'Great boast/Small roast'; 'Children and fools/Should not meddle with edge tools'.
