(34.4 x 20.3cm.).
A George III satinwood Pembroke games table. Crossbanded in mahogany, with strung inlay and raised on square tapering supports. With reversible parquetry inlaid top for chess and cribbage and having two compartment fitted interior, 71cm x 55cm, 72cm high. Fitted compartments later lined. Some fading to the polish. The reversible top and runners have moved slightly out of line so are no longer a truly tight fit but work fine when closed. Unknown as to whether the gaming top is a later addition or not.
