Marchant. Our copy has two additional games, Brag and Dominoes, at the end and does not include the printer's name. 'Bob Short' was the author of numerous chapbooks, many of them relating to the rules of Whist and other card games, the earliest of which were published around 1791. The author is generally believed to be Robert Withy, a stockbroker.
