An antique late Qing dynasty Chinese Export Silver tray by Hung Chong of Canton & Shanghai circa 1890 of rounded rectangular form raised on four dragon's mask feet, with a pierced and chased border depicting dragons among clouds, within a bamboo edge, the surface of the tray engraved with peonies over a stippled background. Diameter 38cm / 15". Silver weight 1360g / 43.75 troy oz.

Two 19th century Chinese export silver card cases, the first cyma shaped rectangular, retailer's mark KSC and a chopmark, attributed to Khecheong, circa 1850, the raised panel of two fish, a ruyi shape and a bat, within a meander border, the reverse with a raised panel of prunus blossom, within a conforming border, 8.5cm (3 3/8in) long; the second rectangular, unmarked, with an overall net design, 8cm (3 1/8in) long (2) Khe Cheong or Khecheong traded as a retail silversmith and jeweller from 2 Old China Street, Canton and Club Street, Honam Island, Canton from circa 1820 to 1890. One of the specialisms of this firm were high quality filigree card cases of the present shape. The cataloguer's thanks goes to Adrien Von Ferscht in this attribution.

A Chinese cast bronze model of a dragon fish, probably 18th century, the body with relief moulded scales and fins, with open mouth showing teeth and with inset silver coloured metal eyes, all upon a cast bronze stand modelled as spuming waves, height 27.5 cm, width approximately 23 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The dragon fish has lots of metal polish residue between the scales. There is a hard sandy coloured residue to the top of its head. There is a 3 cm section of wave missing to the foot of the base. Other than that there appears to be no further losses. The catalogue date states it is probably 18th century but it is difficult to determine and may actually be later.
A Chinese miniature silver junk, late 19th century, having double canopy with a single figure at the back, with two oars and supported on a carved wood scrolling wave base, width 7 cm height 4.8 cm. CONDITION REPORT: Generally this appears to be in good condition throughout with no obvious faults, flaws, cracks, splits or any other such defects. It is unmarked. The carved wood stand is also in very good order with no visible obvious faults.
