A good 'Yongzheng' porcelain pot-pourri, probably Herend, circa 1875, the depressed globular body finely enamelled after Chinese Famille Rose with panels of flowers, panels and bands of diaper, pierced silver cover in Islamic style, 12.5cm Overall the piece is in very good original condition. There is some wear to the underside of the three feet which is to be expected also minor paintwork away here. Overall good general overall condition.
A Chinese Export silver fleam case, stamped to base 'KHC' (Khe Cheong, c. 1840-1890), of typical tapering form, all over decorated with Chinese figures in interior and exterior settings, the push button release hinged cover opening to reveal to voids, 2 3/8in. (6cm.) high, weight 0.96 tr.oz. **Condition: In excellent condition, no other marks, no fleam.

A Chinese silver tea caddy, maker Gem Wo, 19th century, of oval form with applied branches of blossoming prunus in relief, central recessed panel of bark or moss, the cylindrical neck with pull-off cover, bearing engraved initials to both sides, the top with engraved blossoming prunus, raised semi-circular section on main body, later inscribed 'October 1901', the base with Chinese silver character and maker's mark 'GW', 5¼in. (13.4cm.) high, weight 10.9 tr.oz.* Condition: In very good condition, clear marks, the shoulder lip with slight wave, tiny flea-bite nicks to base edge.
A Chinese silver wire inlaid bronze figure of Guanyin, 18th / 19th century, mid-brown patination, the Goddess of Mercy standing with hands together holding a scroll, dressed in wind-blown robes inlaid in silver wire with clouds, birds and flowers, 17in. A mid 19th century Dutch silver octagonal pill box, hallmarked 1864 for .833 silver, together with a white metal twin handled pin tray, a silver London Rifle Brigade finial teaspoon, assayed Sheffield 1930, a Chinese carved ivory needle case and a letter opener, with white metal handle fashioned as a horses head and ivorine blade. A Rare Chinese Gilt Filigree Metal Telescopic Mandarin Fan, 19th century, Qing Dynasty, the monture gilded, enamelled in blue and green in floral patterns, the guards further decorated with applied silver metal dragons. Both sides of the double paper leaf show gatherings of people, their clothes of applied silk and their applied faces of painted ivory. Several are dressed in yellow. Contained in a Chinese black lacquer fitted fan box decorated in gold, with people and flowers on the lid. Lined in light blue silk. Fits the fan when in the closed position. Guard length when closed 9 inches or 23cm Guard length when extended 11 inches or 28cm. Generally good, has clearly been used as the gilding is rubbed. The applied metal dragon on the lower guard is missing its upper section. The leaf is in good used condition. The sliding action works freely. Very heavy fan. The box has the odd scuff on the underneath but nothing serious, the interior lining has some wear.
An Early 20th Century Bone Fan, the cream gauze leaf embroidered with silver sequins and spangles, and larger sections with an iridescent green effect. The monture, shaped and lightly carved, is inlaid with further similar panels and larger deeper inserts in the upper guard pick up on this colour. The verso is plain. An Early 20th Century Bone Fan, the gorge sticks serpentine, the monture pierced, mounted with a thin cream gauze leaf painted with pale pink and white flowers and tiny green leaves. Together with a blue card fan box with a name and ''Xmas 1896'' handwritten underneath. Guard length 9.75 inches or 25cm; An Early 20th Century Green Celluloid Brisé Fan, child size, the stick tips pierced, the central area painted with pale flowers. Seventeen inner sticks and two guards. Guard length 5.25 inches or 13cm; A 20th Century Cream Celluloid Brisé Fan, child size, carved and pierced. Guard length 5.25 inches or 13cm; A Paper Advertising Fan, the single paper leaf mounted on plain wood sticks and printed with the American flag. Guard length 10.25 inches or 26cm; A Paper Advertising Fan for Japan Airlines, 20th Century, the recto with a golden bird with outspread wings and'' Japan Air Lines'', the verso of the double paper leaf with a bold image of a Japanese gentleman with rather grotesque expression. Mounted on plain tan wood, the guard marked ''Made in Japan''. Together with A 19th Century Chinese Carved Bone Brisé Fan, with three decorative oval features. Guard length 7.5 inches or 19cm (7) . Fan 1 - The gauze is foxed in places, but sound, as is the monture. Fan 2 - Requires attention. The gauze leaf is splitting and the upper guard is broken. Fan 3 - Sound. Fan 4 - The celluloid fan lacks a rivet and loop. Fan 5 - Good, clean, possibly unused. Fan 6 - Good Fan 7 - Clean, appears sound
Novelty Fans: A Small Collection of Unusual Fans, six in all, comprising a fan in the form of a gentleman's cigar, c 1860's of the type forming a paper cockade fan when opened, labelled ''FAN…….KATO'' with Chinese characters and scrolling; a wooden fan with second, outer guards, which open to form a fixed handle, the double leaf of black fabric printed with an upper floral border, the verso plain. The leaf opening to approx. 180 degrees; A cockade fan with brass coloured ends to the guards, themselves covered in black leather, and a silver loop to hold the cockade rigid when opened, the leaf a strong black fabric, completely plain. Guards 9 inches or 23 cm, height of fan when opened 13.5 inches or 34.5cm; A Victorian fan of lightweight card, five panels, the black card embossed , the upper guard stating ''With Best Wishes'', the next panel with a verse entitled ''Remember Me'', the remaining three panels with rather more bright and cheerful floral roundels. The verso is stained a light raspberry. Finally, a pair of costume doll cards that open into fan shaped scenic depictions of grand palaces and other buildings with perhaps the lady in front wearing the costume of the location. Both advertise Condensed milk, stating ''Have you tried the condensed milk produced by Gispert? You must! You will have a pleasant surprise. Produced in Palma de Mallorca for Gispert Milk Products'' Below this, a printed patent No 88143 with the words ''Reclam…..beria barna'' printed at the bottom (6). The cigar fan no longer functions as a cockade. Inside the tube is the cockade leaf, cream paper printed with tiny birds, but the action no longer works. The leather on the second cockade is very worn. The remaining fans are all in reasonable order. The black fan in panels does not appear to be a modern reproduction.
