SEVEN CHINESE CORAL CARVINGS OF FEMALE DEITIES AND A BOY QING DYNASTY Each carved as a slender figure, the goddesses include Guanyin and Magu dressed in long flowing robes and with hair in elegant high chignons, the corals of bright salmon colour with some minor white specks, each with a wood stand, one inlaid with silver wire, 12.8cm max. Interesting and varied coin collection including many silver pieces. This is a mixture of Fake & Fortune insofar as there are a number of better pieces that are genuine, but a number of items that we believe to be fakes or copies, and some we are not sure of. Its a superb lot for the collector that likes a challenge. Hundreds of items including assorted 19th century silver USA dollar coins, UK Victorian Crowns, double florin, and two Gothic florins 1849 & 1872. The two elusive Gothic crowns are both copies, various Edwardian, Victorian & earlier silver shillings, sixpences, groats etc., and Victorian Maundy set. The assortment of foreign silver coloured coins are likely to be an assortment of copies and genuine coins, some smaller denomination Chinese coins were also noted. There are a large number of tokens, talleys and tags, together with a large number of other interesting coin related items. Some banknotes were noted and were both genuine and fake / fantasy notes. All items photographed.
