NEIL ARMSTRAONG & COMMANDER RICHARD GORDER, AN ORIGINAL SIGNED LETTER ON OFFICIAL NASA HEADED PAPER Addressed to Commander of Aeronautica, Lima, Peru in thanks for the hospitality awarded to them during a recent visit, dated December 7th 1966 and retaining original Airmail envelope, together with an original publicity photograph of the two astronauts, signed in the upper margin. together with twenty-six original black and white photographs taken at various points during the visit, including a press conference and street scenes. (approx 20cm x 27cm) N.B. the signed photograph shows both astronauts wearing blue jumpsuits, Commander Gordon is wearing a Gemini 11 Mission insignia badge which dates the photo to 1966, Armstrong was on the back up crew for the mission, as Gordon was on the backup crew for Armstrong's Gemini 8 Mission
