A hunting hanger with knife and fork dating: 18th Century provenance: Germany Straight, single -and false-edged blade with fuller and rear groove, the first part engraved with deer and floral motifs; brass hilt, the shell-guard decorated with hunter on horseback, hound and wild boar under a mask, at the guard the effigy of a female figure and a small hound at the upper part, quillon-block and cap decorated with deer, hare and fox; horn grip. Lacquered, leather scabbard (damages and parts missing) and cutlery set (knife and fork) with smooth, brass grip. Brass cap with fawn under a tree. dimensions: length 70.5 cm.
