A rare set of late 1970s Concorde tableware; the Malcolm Keen designed bone china by Royal Doulton and the cutlery by Arthur Price. The china comprises 10.7cm bowl, 12.5cm and 17cm plates, 12.5cm x 17.3cm dish, cup and saucer, salt and pepper (4cm high, the pepper for repair); each piece decorated with repeating stylised droop-nose Concordes within a blue band, and their undersides marked ‘British airways’ and with individual UCCH numbers. The 5-piece cutlery set, three glasses and swizzle-sticks with early Concorde motif of a crown within the letter C. Complete with blue square napkin and holder, and June 1980 letter from British Airways detailing its donation to the Concorde Supporters Club.
