An extensive Royal Crown Derby 'Brittany' pattern dinner, tea and coffee service, comprising two serving platters, a twin handled tureen (lacking cover), two lidded tureens, a sauceboat and stand, nine 10.5" dinner plates, nine 8.5" plates, eight twin handled soup bowls and nine stands, a teapot, eight teacups, nine saucers, nine tea plates, a milk jug and a sugar bowl, a coffee pot, six coffee cans, seven saucers, and a sugar bowl.Condition report: This is a used item, as such it does has some condition issues.The handle on the tea pot has been seperated from the body at some point and has been repaired. The ajoining repair runs from the handle to the rim of the pot. There are cutlery marks on the dinner plates. The gravy boat has a small amount of gilt missing on its rim and gravy boat stand has a centimeter sized chip. Ware to the bottom of the coffee cups. Milk jug has also been repaired from the handle to the rim. One tea cup has a significant crack from its base to the top rim.Although there are a couple of issues, this is a good dinner set, that is still vibrant, with with no glazing issues and the majority of its gilt.

Schlanker, vierkantiger Schaft mit graviertem Dekor. Langer, hohl geschmiedeter Griff mit schwarzem Lederbezug über Schnurwicklung. Die buckelförmige Knaufplatte schwenkbar, darunter ein längliches Fach, wohl für ein nicht mehr vorhandenes Essbesteck. Länge 57 cm. Zustand: IIA German horseman’s axe, presumably Saxon, circa 1580 Small blade with S-shaped edge finely engraved on both sides. Small, angular socket with round top finial, on the opposite side a sturdy quadrangular beak with richly chiselled base. Long belt clasp inserted on the left. Slender haft of quadrangular section with engraved décor. Long, hollow-forged grip with black leather cover above cord wrap. Domed, swivelling guard disc, underneath it an elongated compartment, presumably for a missing cutlery set. Length 57 cm.Condition: II

Reich reliefierte Knäufe mit Banddekor, die Knaufkappen mit halbplastischen Löwenköpfen dekoriert. Länge 30,5 und 23,2 cm.Extrem hochwertiges Renaissance-Besteck in ausgezeichnetem Erhaltungszustand.Zustand: II +A deluxe set of French silver cutlery, circa 1600 The single-edged blade of the knife tapering to a point. Chased décor on both sides with remnants of fire gilding. Two-pronged fork, the chiselled, openwork base still bearing remnants of gilding. The identical handles exquisitely worked in partially gilt silver. The ferrules wrought in the shape of dolphin's heads. The handles embellished with fine, raised strapwork and vase ornaments, interspersed with finely engraved leafy vines and crowns. The knobs with lavish relief decoration of scrolling bands, the knob caps ending in lion's heads in half relief.
