A 19th century Pique work four bladed knife, an early 19th century gilt metal compass within a case and a Mura "Georgian" ceiling wax set. CONDITION REPORT: The compass needle is missing. The locking mechanism does however appear to function (the lever at the back). The compass outer case is in generally good order with very minor tarnishing and faint surface scratches. The compass glass is again in generally good order with no significant scratching. There is one small internal under edge chip just above NE. The compass dial does not appear to have any cracks. The suspension hanger is misshapen and has a break on the left hand side. The outer case is in reasonably good order. The hinge is not damaged and the closing mechanism operates as it should. It is however generally a little tired and scuffed.
