A CONTINENTAL PORCELAIN GROUP of a girl and a boy in a pastoral scene mounted on an oval base with gilt scrolling decoration together with two further Continental porcelain groups, one of a lady playing a cello, the other of a man and a lady playing a hurdy gurdy each approximately 11cm high (3)
A single-manual harpsichord by Jacob Kirckman, London, 1766, the mahogany case with boxwood stringing, the lid with shaped brass strap hinges, the key well veneered with root walnut with boxwood stringing and mahogany crossbanding, the soundboard with inset gilt rose pierced and carved with King David playing the harp and the maker's initials IK, the five octave keyboard, FF to f3, with ivory naturals faced with boxwood mouldings and ebony accidentals, four brass-knobbed draw stops controlling two 8ft stops, a 4ft stop and an 8ft buff stop, with foot pedal controlling a simple machine-stop mechanism disconnecting the front 8ft and 4ft stops, on trestle stand, later music desk. Inscribed on a boxwood plaque on the name batten Jacobus Kirckman Londini Fecit 1766. Length 7ft 2½in, 219.8cm; width 3ft ?in, 93cm. The conversion of the stop levers which would have originally moved sideways to the present 'draw' stops is probably an early modification. Thomas Orde, Lord Bolton (British, 1740-1807) Mr Sharp playing the Cello at Cambridge, 1777 inscribed with title verso pen and ink 20½ x 18cm (8 x 7in) Provenance: From the collection of the late Christopher Hogwood, CBE Exhibited: The Covent Garden Gallery, Russell Street, London The paper has three vertical folds - one small tear at the bottom under his leg, some discolouration and browning. Grey pencil marks along the bottom edge. One foxing spot to the righ of the easel. Under glass and may be stuck down.

A three quarter size cello, with a 27½ inch two piece back, cased Condition report Report by NG Belly cracked - from top of left hand f hole down approx. 10 cm towards spike. Bears a label Made in The Workshops of Andreas Feller Rumania For Stentor Music Co Ltd. Accompanied with a tired looking soft case.
A Hornby Dublo boxed EDL7 tank locomotive, inscribed "GWR6699", together with a Hornby Dublo petrol tank wagon D1 "Esso" CONDITION REPORTS All in well care for but all items have some light wear with some minor scratches and the boxes have some fading. The loco box has cello tape running across one end all along the side and across the other end, the is also some tape to one of the cardboard holders and both holder have some rips, The wagon box has some damage to edge - see image and split to the end - see image. Both loco and wagon have some light wear. Instructions etc all some slight discolouration but over good. The pale blue box is sellotaped. The pale blue box has a rectangular pale blue card packing cover inside the box which fits on top of the loco - this card cover does have both of its end tabs intact. The pale blue box also has card end retainers which sit within the box and one of these is crumpled and sellotaped (please see photos). All packing/boxes have wear and scuffs.
