A late 20thC mahogany and satinwood Carlton House desk by Tom W Skeels, the raised back with two hinged compartments, one bearing plaque for Calrton House Desk Made By Thomas W Skeels Histon Cambridgeshire 1991-92, the other vacant, the central arched cupboard inlaid initials JE, flanked by four drawers and two arched recesses, the base with a red gilt tooled leather inset, above three drawers, on square tapering legs with brass castors, 99cm high, 127cm wide, 64cm deep.
A late 19thC mahogany and ebonised Carlton House desk, the raised top with a pierced brass gallery and an arrangement of twelve drawers and two ebony strung doors, the base with a green leather inset above three frieze drawers each with brass drop handles, on square tapering legs, with castors, locks stamped Hobbs and Co, 100cm high, 142cm wide, 77cm deep.
