A Mahogany Library Table, attributed to Gillows, early 19th century, the rounded rectangular top inset with a green leather writing surface, above two real and two opposing drawers above a gadrooned edge, the base with pillar end supports, on leaf and shell carved ball and claw feet united by a turned understetcher, 152cm by 91cm by 78cm See illustration. An Edwardian satinwood and painted Carlton House desk, the wrap around stage back with two banks of three short drawers flanked by three small cupboard doors and drop hinged stationery cupboards enclosing fitted drawers above a gilt tooled tan skiver, with forward sliding action, the kneehole with a frieze drawer flanked by two short drawers to each side, on square tapering legs ending in spade feet, the whole painted with peasant girls and neo-classical floral decoration around trophies of the Arts and Music, 140cm wide, 104cm high, 66cm deep

The Property of The Finnis Scott Foundation. Circle of Horatio McCulloch, RSA (British, 1805-1867), Edinburgh from the Glasgow Road, oil on panel, 26 x 44cm (10.14 x 17.16in). Provenance: Sabin Galleries, London, where bought by Sir David Scott, 17 August 1974 for no. 385 (as by Sam Bough). This extensive panorama of Edinburgh shows a number of the principal monuments and buildings from a vantage point on the road to Glasgow. The centre right of the composition is dominated by Castle Hill, with Arthur's Seat and Holyrood Palace to the right. The Gothic crown of St. Giles's Cathedral can be seen to the left of Edinburgh Castle and beyond is the spire of the Tron Church. Between these two landmarks lies the Royal Mile. To the distant left stand some of the monuments at Carlton Hill, including most prominently Nelson's Monument of 1806-15
A collection of six Carlton ware pottery Guinness "Zoo" figures, comprising - "Zoo Keeper", "Toucan", "Ostrich", "Seal", "Kangaroo" and "Tortoise", all on shaped bases, worded in red "My Goodness - My Guinness", each 4ins high (oranged printed marks to base and various incised Nos GA2197 - neck of Ostrich broken and restuck), and two sets of six Guinness advertising postcards (both contained in original envelopes).
