Royal Doulton 'Countess' Part Dinner Set To Include Handled Lidded Tureen, Gravy Boat, Four Dinner Plates 26cm Dia, Five Plates 24cm Dia, Six Plates 20cm Dia (Age Related Wear Noted) Also Carlton Ware Novelty Ceramics , Legs Toast Rack, Footed Cup With A Duck Handle, Apple Shaped Condiment Set, Hovis and Sailor Egg Cups (1Tray)
Charles I Indenture dated 1647, indenture on velum between Robert Carlton of Milton and William Stanford of Draycott, with schedule fully witnessed approx 70w x 35 cms together with two 17th century indentures on velum both dated 1649, the same year that King Charles I was executed, between Adam Gizzold and William Ailes of Drayton, one having the original red wax weights, approx 73 x 53 cms. This lot includes an interesting Abstract relating to a Mr William Pettits regarding Title to Farm Lands and other Premises at Up Lambourne in the County of Berkshire, dated from November 1667 through to September 1775, a synopsis of each lease agreement and with whom. Another George III indenture on velum dated 1762 between William Hiott (?) of Siddington Saint Peter in the County of Gloucester and Albert Gardner son and heir at law of Andrew Hiott (?) in the County of Berks declared of one part and Charles Laggott of Buscot aforesaid labourer of the other part, with two cypher seal. This lot concludes with a George II era velum document relating to a tenant farmer Thomas Garrard at Chipping Lambourn, who appears to have lodged a claim against his landlord Thomas Seymour, all other landowners in the area appear to have come together in support of Thomas Seymour and have drafted this document which bears their signatures and wax seals dated 1736. Lot includes a carded Corgi Juniors #75 Spidercopter (appears Mint on Good card with creased and dusty Fair Plus bubble; an unboxed Corgi #266 Spiderbike; Carlton / Vivid Imaginations Captain Scarlet figure and similar.
