A rare papier mach doll's house Man costumed in a green and red suit with gold paper detail circa 1835, and another man wearing a dark frock coat circa 1850. Two German made doll's house women with moulded blond hair wearing the original 1890's formal dresses, 6 1/2in H, and a small all bisque child. All originally inhabiting a dolls house owned by Lucy Evershed Dale of North Berwick (1878-1969). Damage and missing limbs to all bisque dolls.
Three all bisque sideways glancing googlie eyed German made miniature Dolls, jointed at shoulders and hips. Costumed in the original green and cream smocks. Two with red berets, the other with a striped bonnet. 4 1/2in H. With an extensive trousseau of costumes including beaded 1920's dresses, winter coats, dressing gown, sweaters, straw hats, bags, deck chair, jug and basin and Fry's Cocoa box containing bags. Three old photographs of the dolls named Pamela, Priscilla and Noggs and four hand written illustrated story books 'The Tale of a Bad Brownie', Mr Peterkins, How Brownie learnt his Lessons and Peeps into Fairyland. One inscribed 'To Pamela from Mummy, Xmas 1913', another 'To my dear little ward Phyllis on her 5th birthday, October 7 1914. From Doreen St. J', and another 'From her ever loving new mother D. St. John, Nov 2nd'. All contained in a later yellow painted chest of drawers. Chest labelled Givjoy Marshall Toys, Finchley Rd. The vendor purchased the dolls at a charity auction. They were owned by a Scottish man whose aunt had been given them when she was 4 in 1913. Her new stepmother made all the outfits.

An Armand Marseille bisque head doll, on a composition body, 67.5 cm high, other dolls, parts and accessories (2 boxes) Condition report Report by GH The doll on the right hand side of the picture has what appears to be a number 11 impressed on the back of its head but no other marks or numbers. The head is in good condition with no obvious cracks, damage or repairs. The articulated eyes work as they should.
A small collection of bisque headed and other dolls, including Armand Marseille. CONDITION REPORT: The bisque head of the largest doll is stamped on the back made in Germany 247J.D.K. The dolls head is filthy and a little scratched in places. There may be a small hairline crack running up into the hairline above the left hand facing ear, although this may simply be a surface scratch. The head is so dirty it is difficult to tell. The remainder of the head is in good condition, however the eyes are in poor order with damage to the porcelain above the glass eyes themselves. The smaller doll you is Armand Marseille, Germany A6/0N. Unfortunately this head is damaged and has had a section broken around the top of the left ear, there is also damage to the eyelids.

An early 20th Century Heubach - Koppeldorf No. 399.14, bisque headed "black" doll with composition body wearing grass skirt and bead necklaces, 8.5ins high, and two Gerbruder Heubach small bisque headed character baby dolls with composition bodies, 9ins high. Please note the black doll has been withdrawn from this Lot.
