A small German blue roof dolls’ house probably Gottschalk, wood covered in printed paper with brick façade, fancy windows and doors and front opening to reveal two plain rooms with small scale furniture including a gilt metal rococo sofa and two chairs, blue painted wooden Erzgebirge tables and chairs, two all bisque dolls’ house dolls, pencil no.99 to base - 12in. (30.5cm.) high (some wear)
Penrhyn House, a large and unusual G & J Lines dolls’ house with coach house and pull-out garden, circa 1895, the exterior painted cream, with brick papers to corners and sides, the eaves with gilded timbers, a central pillard front door, four windows, on the first floor central French windows leading to a semi-circular balcony, detachable steps lead down to the front or a balustraded garden, to the left is similar coach house with first floor accommodation, lift off roof and lift off 1st floor, the main house front opening to reveal four rooms, hall, stairs and landing, connecting doors and original papers and attic room, extensively furnished including nine bisque shoulder-head dolls in original clothes, eleven piece lithographed paper marquetry design drawing room set, gilt metal pieces including a pier glass and table, what-not, dog kennel with wax spaniel, fender, toilet mirror, clock with candle garniture and twelve pictures, soft metal bronzed corner shelf, four blonde wood dinning chairs with upholster silk heart shaped backs and seats, a gilt and bronzed soft metal half tester bed and miniature tools - 42in. (107cm.) wide 411?2in. (105.5cm.) high 291?4in. (74cm.) deep with garden open - Provenance - purchased in the 1960s by the present owner from the estate of Lord Penrhyn and comes with a letter of provenance from Lord Penrhyn’s sisters. The house also appeared in Kay’s Desmond’s 1972 book Dolls & Dolls’ Houses and comes with a signed copy, it also appeared in a 1980s advert for Woolwich Building Society (some slight restoration and wear)

Three early Parian-type dolls house dolls, German circa 1860, all with delicately painted features, moulded blonde hair and two on cloth bodies with bisque lower arms and legs, the other boy with a wooden jointed body with painted socks and shoes, all wearing original clothes, lady in yellow lacks left foot, boy lacks right lower arm, all approx: 3 ¾” (9.5cm) tall (3 items).
Parian-type shoulder head dolls house doll, German circa 1860, with finely painted features, pierced ears, original long blonde wig with plait, on a cloth body with bisque lower arms and legs, painted brown boots, wearing original cream dress and bonnet, damage to hands and left foot, 6” (15cm) tall.

A hand wound musical automata Piano Player and Dancers, German circa 1910, pianist and dancers all with bisque heads and glass eyes, the seated pianist wearing a long lace dress and playing a wooden piano with paper keys, dancing children with boy wearing pink trouser suit and girl in lace, when wound music plays pianist plays piano whilst head turns to watch children who spin around, on a wooden paper covered base with silver border, dolls redressed, 8” (20cm) high x 11 ¾” (30cm) wide.
A hand wound musical automata of two Dancing Girls, German circa 1910, dolls both with bisque heads having glass eyes and open mouths, wearing pink and blue dresses with flower garlands to hair and holding Polichinelle’s not original, on a paper covered base with gilt metal feet, when wound music plays and girls dance, dolls redressed, 14” (36cm)) high x 11 ½” (29cm) wide.
A size 6 Tete Jumeau 1907 bisque head doll, with fixed blue paper-weight eyes, open mouth with upper teeth, pierced ears and original brown wig with pate, on a fully jointed wood and composition body and wearing a white cotton dress with grey pattern and undergarments, 16” (41cm) tall, unusually the inside to the dolls head is of a pink colour, however all aspects of the head and body appear to be original.
Two Armand Marseille (Germany) bisque head composition body dolls: one with head mold 995 A3M with sleeping brown eyes, auburn wig, open mouth with two teeth, height 39cm (repainted face); the other with head mold 990 A6M with sleeping brown eyes, dark brown wig, open mouth with two teeth, height 42cm (replaced wig).
Two Armand Marseille (Germany) bisque head dolls: the first mold '390 A12M', with sleeping blue eyes, eyelashes, wig, open mouth with teeth (one chipped) and jointed composition body. Height 71cm. Head appears G, six fingers missing. The other mold '390 A 3/0 M', with sleeping blue eyes, eyelashes, wig, open mouth with teeth and jointed composition body. Height 35cm. Two cracks to forehead and one repaired hand. Together with a selection of period clothing and five pairs of children's shoes, conditions vary.
