An early 20th century S.F.B.J 60 Paris bisque headed doll, with composite body and articulated limbs, sleepy eyes and open mouth, theeth, clothes, shoes and wig. Height / Length : 56 cm Condition report : the dolls is in good condition overall, there are visible marks on the composite body, legs and arms. The bisque has no marks, scratches, damages.

An early doll in court dress, circa 1830s/40s, plaster-headed wooden doll, with finely-painted face and brown plaited and looped hair with large pink silk bow, articulated arms and legs, and green-painted feet, wearing muslin pantaloons under a hand-stitched silk gown comprising a pink and cream checked bodice with elbow-length sleeves and a long train, and stiffened cream grosgrain skirt, skirt and train embellished with flowers and leaves, gown additionally trimmed with lace and pink silk bows, dust-soiled and some wear, including insect damage to fabric in places, head a little cracked and nose tip slightly chipped, height of figure 19 cm (7.5 ins), and including train 35.5 cm (14 ins), together with 2 other early dolls: a 19th century wooden doll with painted face wearing theatrical costume, including a hennin, silk clothing tattered, height 13.5 cm (5.25 ins); and a late Victorian painted bisque clown doll, with moving limbs, paint rubbed, height 8.5 cm (3.25 ins), plus a pair of miniature red leather shoes with metal buckles, circa 1860s/70s, slightly worn, length 5cm (2 ins), and a pair of black leather baby's shoes with buttoned ankle straps, labelled "First shoes. Two Armand Marseilles bisque head dolls, Floradora AOM, overall length 49cm and a child doll in Scots dress 390A2M, 44cm Condition:- Armand Marseille doll has later wig, chipping to the painting of the eyes when closed, head and shoulders look to be in very good condition, left hand has fingers broken away, right hand worn but intact, costume a little faded, lower leg has burst in one place leaking sawdust- Scots doll with some dirt marking running around the neck but otherwise very good condition, Armand Marseille 390A2M, small chip to left thumb, composition body otherwise good, costume slightly faded.

All heads appear free from cracks. Charming collection.
Two charming antique late 19th / early 20th century antique bisque headed dolls. The first being a beautiful leather bodied doll, complete with brown glass eyes, bisque arms and a green outfit. No makers marks visible (believed A&M). The other doll being an Armand Marseille ' 390 ' head on a later body. Beautifully dressed in a straw hat and lace decorated dress. Both heads appear free from cracks / repairs. Tallest approx; 29cm.
