A collection of x12 vintage mid century bisque headed dolls of French and German makers to include Armand Marseille, J J Orsini and others. Various composition and cloth body examples with flirty eyes and finely painted features along with x3 doll reference books. No obvious damage to heads. Largest measuring approx 60cm.
A large collection of assorted vintage bears, dolls and other toys to include; Pelham Puppet Fairy, Chad Valley tinplate tea set, 1980's Playskool ' Dolly Surprise ' with growing hair, x2 bisque headed dolls, battery operated circus clown, McDonalds Happy Meal toys (sealed) and more. Interesting assortment.
A collection of x5 assorted wooden and composition dolls of oriental interest. The three smaller dolls having jointed composition bodies with finely painted features and red kimonos. The two larger examples being ' peg ' like dolls, one wooden with a decorated hairstyle and the other a wooden with bisque coating and a traditional ' Nihongami ' wig. Largest measuring approx 28cm.
Armand Marseille: A pair of Armand Marseille bisque head dolls, one with a composition body the other stuffed, both with open and close eyes, open mouths. Fingers have general wear to both, with slight damage, heads both appear to be free from cracks, although both wigs are stuck down. Marked to head '370 AM 9/0 X DEP Armand Marseille Made in Germany', the other marked 'AM Germany 352/0 K'. Heights approx. 12" and 11". Please assess photographs. (2)
Bisque shoulder head doll with sleeping eyes, open mouth, impressed '309' '3 1/2' on a jointed kid leather body with composition lower arms and legs, later wig, 37cms; 19th century wax shoulder doll with blond wig, blue glass eyes, on a fabric body, wearing a blue silk double breasted coat, 50cm; dolls costume including silk trimmed bonnet, socks and shoes, undergarments; china shoulder head doll, dolls timepiece on a chain; and a Chinese style doll (in a hat box)Condition report: Bisque and kid body doll - no cracks or chips to the head, just scuffing and wear, tiny chip to the left ear, some scratches to the face, eyelids repainted, body appears ok, arms need restuffing and fitting. Wax doll - face appears a bit 'squashed' dent to the back of head, scratches and wear to the face and especially cheeks, the back of the head is cracked in a couple of places and also to one leg, general wear.See extra images

3 antique bisque head dolls including a 1920's soft bodied 'Bye-lo Baby' sitting cross legged height 27cm, celluloid hands, impressed mark ' Copr by Grace S Putnam MADE IN GERMANY'; a 1920's/30's 'My Dream Baby' with closing blue eyes and composition body by Armand Marseille, mould 351/2K height 55cm, and an unusual early 20th century bisque head doll, impressed mark '696' with closing blue eyes and celluloid body, height 53cm. (3) CR; no obvious chips or cracks to any of the bisque heads. Not viewed under UV light. Upper body of Bye-lo baby has lost stuffing and has a crude repair to right shoulder and broken left hand
