Twin handled tray : scratches to enamel, plus repaired damage to one of the handles, general wear and tear. Pot : damage in form of large chip/loss to one of the handles, plus small scratches. Cat wall pocket : possible small re-painted section to neck of one of the cats, some small scratches. Cherub ornament : all over dirty, with white paint to one arm. Bisque dolls : loss to part of one of the bonnets, fingers are rough to touch. Frog vase : hairline crack running from mouth down to shoulder, black mark on head, brown mark on leg, all over various scratches, etc. Floral teacup and saucer : some cracks to leaves, saucer has been repaired and re-painted at some point, various losses to paint, other cracks, etc. Cat decorated cup and saucer : assorted wear to paint and decoration, rim has rough sections to touch. Cake stand : crazing all over, assorted fine scratches, chip to foot, etc.

SIX SMALL DOLLS AND MARKLIN BED. Lot consists of three bisque socket heads on 5-piece composition bodies, two all-bisque dolls, one with glass eyes and swivel neck, the other with stationary neck, and an ""A.M. 560a"" baby with 5-piece bent limb body. Doll in pink is reclining in a lovely Marklin painted bed which still retains some of its bed clothing. All items appear to be all original. SIZE: Tallest-A.M. baby: 6"" t (15cm). Smallest-all bisque in regional clothing: 4"" t (10cm). Bed: 3-3/4"" t (9cm) x 6"" l (15cm). CONDITION: Very good. 1-14077

31"" TETE JUMEAU #14. A nice example of a French bebe with pale bisque and large blue paperweight eyes on a fully jointed French composition body. Commonly referred to as a ""scrub mark"" Tete Jumeau the lettering ""Tete Jumeau"" has been scrubbed off and oftentimes this was done to avoid price fixing or to allow a retailer to sell an item such as this at a cheaper price. She is attired in a white fanciful cotton dress she has only one shoe, being French marked with a 13 with a ""B"" and stamped ""Paris"" on the partial sole, and a blond human hair wig of newer vintage. Lacking partial ring finger on right hand and her right eye has multiple cracks but is intact. Overall a very pleasing and large doll that can easily fit into and be affordable to a collector of French dolls. SIZE: 31"" tall. CONDITION: Composition body in very good original finish with some chipping to paint finish on both hands. Firing line above doll`s right ear with small line extending further down to top of ear. 1-14256

PAIR OF TWO GERMAN BISQUE GOOGLY DOLLS. Larger is a socket head incised ""Germany 323 A11/0M"" and has brown glass sleep eyes looking slightly to the right, closed mouth with smile, on 5-pc composition body with molded and painted shoes and socks. Smaller is unmarked but attributed to Kestner and has a 1-piece all-bisque head and torso with separately strung bisque arms. Both dolls are in their original boxes, with the A.M. doll never removed from the box. SIZE: A.M.: 6"" t (25cm). All-bisque: 5"" t (12cm). CONDITION: Overall very good. 1-14069

TWO BISQUE SHOULDER HEAD DOLLS. Doll in pink dress is French and is incised on front of shoulder plate ""E3 Depose B"" and has blue paperweight eyes, closed mouth, and is on a kid leather body with gussets at the hips. Other doll is a German doll, unmarked, with head turned slightly to the right having fixed blue eyes, a closed mouth, a solid dome head, and mounted to an all leather body with gussets at the elbows and joints at the hips and knees allowing legs to bend. Both have antique mohair wigs. SIZE: French: 15-1/2"" t (39cm). German 18"" t (46cm). CONDITION: French doll has two cracks on shoulder plate, one extending from the sew hole to the right side of the neck, and the other across the shoulder which has been painted over. TWO GERMAN BISQUE CHARACTER DOLLS. Larger of the two is a bisque shoulder head by Gebruder Heubach on cloth body with bisque lower hands. He has squinty eyes and a crooked mouth and is sometimes known to collectors as ""the spinach baby"". Smaller is a portrait of an older man by ""Dressel"" on a 5-pc composition body wearing original clothes. He is known as ""the farmer"" although the head is identical to the one used in the ""Uncle Sam"" doll. SIZE: Heubach: 13"" t (33cm). Farmer: 10"" (26cm). CONDITION: Heubach is missing part of back shoulder plate; farmer is very good. 1-14053

TWO SMALL GERMAN DOLLS. The slightly taller is a bisque socket head on a fully jointed composition body with straight wrists, with head incised ""S&H Germany"". She has blue glass sleep eyes, open mouth with four teeth, an antique printed cotton dress, and an original blonde mohair wig. The other doll is unmarked and is an all-bisque with blue stationary eyes, open mouth with two upper teeth, with separately strung arms and legs, with molded and painted gold and black boots. She is sometimes known to collectors as a ""wrestler"". Also accompanying the all-bisque are five woolen sheep (one with a broken head). SIZE: 9"" t (23cm) & 7-1/2"" (19cm) respectively. CONDITION: Very good; all-bisque has one surface chip at top of right leg. 1-13977-1

Larger of the two is a bisque socket head ""Belton type"" with blue glass eyes, closed mouth, on a 5-pc composition body with molded and painted boots and stockings. She wears a replaced sheepskin wig and has been appropriately been recostumed. Smaller is a black all-bisque doll with swivel neck, closed mouth, brown pupilless glass eyes wearing original red silk costume with lace collar. SIZE: Belton: 8-1/2"" t (22cm). All-bisque: 4-1/2"" t (12cm). CONDITION: Wig not removed on larger doll, but no damage noted; all-bisque has a few minor surface paint flakes on head, most notably on left eyebrow. 1-14074

Head swivels on separate shoulder plate which is mounted to an all leather body. Smaller doll is a ""Belton type"" and incised ""197"" and is attributed to Baehr & Proschild. She too has an open/closed mouth, brown paperweight eyes, and is on an early wood and composition body with straight wrists. She also comes with an extra dotted Swiss dress. SIZE: Largest: 14"" t (36cm). Smallest: 13"" t (33cm). CONDITION: Both very good with some typical age wear to both bodies. 1-14063

The larger is a socket head incised ""K*R SIMON & HALBIG 117n43"" having blue glass sleep eyes which also flirt from side to side, open mouth with four upper teeth, on original fully jointed wood and composition body with rubber hands, high knee joints, and diagonal hip joints. She wears her original dark blonde bobbed mohair wig, a 1910 style white cotton dress with pink ribbon sash, and newer white leather shoes. The smaller is a Kestner with head incised ""Made in Germany 143"" having blue glass sleep eyes, an open mouth with two upper teeth and a fully jointed wood and composition body with straight wrists. She wears a replacement wig and has been appropriately recostumed. SIZE: K*R: 17"" t (43cm). Kestner: 10"" (25cm). CONDITION: K*R overall very good with some typical age deterioration to hands. Kestner also very good, slight bisque speckling. 1-14067

Last is a semi-mechanical toy with two babies in a bunting with a squeeze mechanism in the pillow, and when squeezed babies` head turns towards each other and then back again when released. Another doll incised ""Queen Louise"" with blue glass sleep eyes and painted lower lashes and silk upper lashes. Smallest is incised ""K*R 62"" with brown glass sleep eyes on original body. In addition, there is a Simon & Halbig 1079 with original silk upper eyelashes and a doll incised ""B&P 320 dep"" which has brown glass sleep eyes and a different body with diagonal hip joints, however it is not a conventional toddler body. FOUR GERMAN BISQUE HEAD DOLLS. Lot consists of three bisque socket head dolls on fully jointed composition bodies and one shoulder head doll on leather body with bisque forearms. The largest of the three socket heads is an A.M. 1894, and also included are a C.M. Bergmann ""S&H"" and a Karl Hartmann. The shoulder head is a Kestner 154 with blue sleep eyes and antique blonde mohair wig. SIZE: Largest: 24"" t (62cm). Smallest: 21"" t (53cm). CONDITION: A.M. 1894 has a restored crack in the back of the head and the eyes have been reset in a stationary position. Also, Kestner missing one bisque thumb. 1-13692

Smaller doll in incised on the back of the shoulder ""309-10"" and has blue stationary glass eyes. All dolls are on leather bodies with bisque forearms. SIZE: Largest: 25"" t (64cm). One is incised ""A.M. 390"", the other with brown stationary eyes is unmarked. The two smaller dolls are bisque shoulder heads. One with brown inset eyes is an A.M. 1894, and the other is a Kestner incised ""DEP7"". SIZE: Largest: 22"" t (55cm). Smallest: 17"" t (43cm). CONDITION: A.M.`s body has been repainted; unmarked socket head has broken foot and repainting on legs; Kestner`s eyes have fallen into head and back shoulder plate has been restored. 1-13665

She has blue glass eyes which have been set in a stationary position and is on the original fully jointed body, missing one finger. Smallest doll is incised ""S&H 1039 DEP"" and has blue glass sleep eyes, on the original fully jointed wood and composition body. SIZE: Largest: 23"" t (58cm). Smallest: 20"" t (51cm). CONDITION: All have certain amounts of normal body wear; SHPB doll has piece broken and glued on left side of head, and replacement arms. 1-13666

The larger shoulder head has neck turned slightly to the right and is unmarked other than ""12"". The smaller shoulder head is a Kestner 154 and has brown sleep eyes and an old mohair wig. LOT OF FIVE GERMAN BISQUE HEAD DOLLS. Largest is incised ""Walkure"" and has brown glass eyes that also flirt from side to side as well as sleep; a Kammer & Reinhardt doll with brown glass sleep eyes and wears what could be original pink cotton dress. Also included are two shoulder head dolls, one in white attributed to Kestner and the other doll in long pink dress and braided wig is unmarked. Small doll is incised ""224"" and is attributed to B.P. He has a ""Belton type"" head with closed mouth and is on a 5-piece composition body. SIZE: Tallest-Handwerck: 24"" t (62cm). Smallest-Belton boy: 7-1/2"" t (19cm). CONDITION: Good to very good. K*R`s fingernails repainted and unmarked shoulder head has bad crack on back of head and shoulder plate. 1-14081

Four of the five are German, the largest being a K*R 126 with brown sleep eyes and 5-piece body, another of the same mold but one size smaller with stationary blue eyes, a K*R 127 with blue glass sleep eyes and molded and painted hair, an A.M. 990, and the smallest marked ""NIPPON"" made to look like the Kestner Hilda baby. SIX GERMAN BISQUE SOCKET HEAD DOLLS. Included are three dolls incised ""Queen Louise"", a Karl Hartmann doll, an A.M. 1894, and a Handwerck 119. All dolls are on fully jointed composition bodies, and all but the A.M. 1894 have eyes that sleep. SIZE: Largest-Hartmann: 25"" t (64cm). Smallest-Handwerck: 20"" t (51cm). CONDITION: Good to very good; A.M.`s eyes have been reset, body in poor condition; Handwerck has minor mold split in rim, however it does not extend into the head and there is no hairline. 1-13693
