Captain Leslie Everingham Pritchard served during the Great War with the Veterinary Corps, commissioned Lieutenant 24.7.1916, Captain 10.7.1919 continued his service post war a newspaper cutting details the Disbandment of South Persia Rifles and the retention by the Persian Government of 700 men in the vicinity of Shiraz one of which was Pritchard. Thompson died on 30 January 1919 of Spanish flu after Armistice whilst awaiting orders to return to the US. See lot 756. (a small carton)
