The ex-Charles Lucas Engineering/Roy Pike 1968-winning F3 car, currently in Formula B-spec with a very well documented racing history from its time in the US. Charles Lucas Engineering started life at the ex-BRP workshops at Highgate before moving to King’s Lynn and subsequently Huntingdon as their engine preparation and engineering business grew. The team were already very experienced in F3 having run the works Lotus 41s in 1966 and had continued into 1967 running a private Lotus and Brabham BT21. At the end of 1967, the team introduced their own car, the Titan Mk3 (the Mk1 was a 2.5 Maserati engined sports-racer and the Mk2 an F2 project that never got off the ground). Designed by Roy Thomas, the Mk3 was a conventional late 1960s spaceframe based car. Suspension was outboard with double wishbones at the front and the rear featured a top link with a reversed bottom wishbone and double radius rods. Although the Mk3 did not appear until the dying months of 1967, success was immediate with Roy Pike winning at Brands Hatch and finishing second at Oulton Park. This success prompted a flurry of interest amongst potential entrants for the 1968 season and a number were ordered for delivery in early 1968.The customer cars were built just down the road by Arch Motors but the two ‘Works’ cars were carefully put together by the team at CLE and the 1968 Mk3 on offer here is indeed one of those cars. Originally chassis #3 (#6833), it was rebuilt at the end of the busy season and re-plated as #68318, however a letter is included in the file from the works confirming that this was originally chassis #3. It was allocated to Works driver, Roy Pike, the talented Pensylvanian whose testing and development skills played a major part in the team’s success.1968 began well with Roy Pike scoring a dominant win (as well as pole and fastest lap) in Round Five of the MCD Lombank British Formula 3 Championship on the Grand Prix circuit at Brands Hatch in mid April. A week later, on 21st April, another win followed, this time in the XXVIII Grand Prix de Pau in France. Roy and #3 scored another victory in Round Eight of the Lombank in mid May, this time on the short circuit at Brands and the final win of the season came on 15th September at the IV Coupe de l’Avenir at Zolder against a big field of European F3 drivers. Numerous top ten finishes throughout the season meant that Roy and #3 finished eight in the Lombank F3 Championship in a well supported series that included eight drivers who went on to race in Formula 1.We understand that the car was subsequently sold to a Ronald Householder of Oregon, US, who ran it in SCCA ‘Formula C’, a category for up to 1,100cc racing engines, for a few years before being converted by Ralph Ormsbee to ‘Formula B’ (1,600cc production 'stock-block' engines) and fitted with a Lotus Twin-Cam mated to a Hewland MK5/6 transaxle in big torque spec. It was later sold to Dennis Howell and subsequently to Chris Gruys who acquired it in 2012. Prior to taking to the circuits, he undertook significant recommissioning including new master cylinders, resealed calipers, skimmed discs, a rebuilt gearbox with new bearings and dog rings, a new Tilton clutch and safety upgrades such as a bag tank. The car was actively raced in multiple events, including the 2012 LSR Charity Event at Laguna Seca, the 2015 David Love Memorial at Sonoma Raceway and the 2015 Thunderhill Titan Reunion. In 2015, the engine was sent to Ivey Engines of Portland, Oregon for a full rebuild after an oil pressure issue. The car's extensive history file chronicles #68318’s life from its time as a ‘Works’ car through four decades of racing in the US and will be available to read at our Documents Desk during the sale.In 2020, the car was shipped back to the UK and participated in a successful ‘shake-down’ test at Donington Park. It remains in its American specification and is now offered in running condition but, as with any competition car, will require an assessment of the validity and currency of all the safety-related equipment and close inspection of the suspension and braking components before being used in anger. The car could be used for hill climbs, sprints or Formula Libre, however once converted back to its 1968, one-litre, specification, it would make an excellent entry into the HSCC Historic Formula 3 Championship and presumably would be welcomed by the 1-Litre Historic F3 Racing Association, particularly as their President, Mike Walker, raced against Roy Pike in this car in 1968. Whilst currently not supplied with FIA paperwork, the well documented build details, the extensive history file, and the willingness of all to see it back on UK circuits should make the process fairly straightforward.#68318 represents an outstanding opportunity to acquire a well preserved and well raced example of a winning Formula 3 car from the golden era of the F3 ‘screamers’.Specification Make: TITAN Model: MK3 Year: 1968 Chassis Number: 68318 Registration Number: N/A Transmission: ManualClick here for more details and images

Registration No: Y237 NRD Chassis No: SALLPAMW31A458735 MOT: September 2025One of just 200 Bordeaux limited edition examples for the UK market, 100 petrol and 100 dieselCurrent registered ownership since purchased from H&H in 2021 with seven former keepersRecently the beneficiary of much expenditure including new suspension bags and compressor, headlining, paint correction and moreTwenty-five years after its triumphant introduction, what's now known as the Range Rover `Classic' gave way to the second generation of the model (code name P38A). By then the Rover's original workman-like persona had been completely transformed - long gone were the hose-down rubber flooring and basic trim, which had been replaced by increasingly deep pile carpets, leather upholstery and wood finishings. The newcomer brought a strengthened chassis and less boxy exterior, while power was now provided by upgraded 4.0-litre and 4.6-litre versions of Rover's ubiquitous all-alloy V8 engine as well as a diesel derivative using the six-cylinder 2.5-litre engine. The limited-edition ‘Bordeaux’ was produced for the 2001 model year, with 200 examples manufactured for the UK market, 100 of both petrol and diesel variants. With a list price of £38,995 when new, they were finished in Alveston Red paintwork with colour-coded bumpers and mirrors along with Pro-Sport alloys. The interior upholstery is finished in complementary Lightstone Cream leather piped in Red with Red carpeting. ‘Y237 NRD’ was supplied new via Lancaster Land Rover of Reading, and this diesel example (fitted with the 2.5-litre TD engine) has been in current registered ownership since 2021 when purchased from the H&H December Buxton Pavilion Gardens auction.Already displaying full service history from new when purchased, the vendor has further improved this rare Range Rover with paintwork to the front end, a new headlining and improvements to the suspension including new front suspension bags and compressor. The vendor has kept up the impeccable servicing record with a further three services since purchase at 113,184 miles, 113,664 miles and the most recent at 114,208 miles in September 2024 and he has also fitted a new, correct spare wheel and sourced an original tool kit.Now described by the vendor as being in 'very good' condition all round, we are sure that any potential new owner would find this now very collectable vehicle a noble steed for years to come. Registration No: CYU 376 Chassis No: GUL 41 MOT: November 2025Fitted with its original Barker 'Owen' coachwork with twin spare wheelsCurrent ownership since 2018Featuring the rare and desirable Lucas QK596 headlampsOffered with chassis card records, owner's handbook, invoices and the current V5CSubject to a previous overdrive and engine overhaulMaintaining its policy of offering one ‘Large’ and one ‘Small’ model (the terms being purely relative!), Rolls-Royce introduced the 20/25 in 1929 as a successor to the outgoing 20hp. Though the newcomer was intended to appeal to owner drivers, many examples were in fact sold to customers with chauffeurs. Power came from an enlarged version of the straight-six unit used in the 20hp. Now of 3699cc, it made for swifter acceleration and a higher top speed – up to 75mph, depending on the chosen body. The four-speed manual gearbox featured the manufacturer’s traditional right-hand change and was equipped with synchromesh on the top two ratios from 1932 onwards. The substantial chassis sported rigid axles front and rear suspended on semi-elliptic leaf springs. The four-wheeled braking was mechanically servo-assisted. In 1936, the company opted to increase the performance once more, further enlarging the engine to 4257cc to create the so-called 25/30, of which 1,201 examples were made before the model was superseded by the Wraith in 1938. Like many Rolls-Royces of this elegance, the 25/30 marque starred on the silver screen, most notably in ‘The Naked Truth’ and ‘Death on the Nile’.Chassis GUL 41 possesses the original Barker ‘Owen’ coachwork, as shared in a magazine feature for Great Cars in 2008. GUL 41’s first owner was Cecil Rhodes Dormer, the son of Francis Dormer, a close friend and business associate of Cecil Rhodes (1853-1902), English mining magnate, politician and founder of the southern African territory of Rhodesia (Zimbabwe). They met while travelling from London to Cape Town on the ship ‘Teuton’ in 1875. When the ‘Cape Argus’ newspaper was up for sale, Francis sought financial help from Cecil Rhodes, who provided the necessary funds. With a close relationship, subsequently, Francis Dormer is credited with naming Rhodesia. After Cecil R. Dormer died in 1951, GUL41 was acquired by mill owners William M. Haggas & Son. By the 1960s, GUL 41 was with D. A. Claxton RN, stationed at HMS Caledonia, a Royal Navy training establishment in Rosyth, before being acquired by Andrew Plotzke of Suffolk.Today, the car’s cosmetic condition displays well-maintained paint, and chrome, featuring the desirable Lucas QK596 headlamps, and with an appealing Brown leather interior. Equipped with an overdrive unit and well-suited for touring, the sizeable fitted rear trunk and twin side-mounted spare wheels enhance its practicality. Since 2018, the car has been under the care of its current owner, as evidenced by detailed invoices from marque specialists Matt Pickles and Fiennes Restoration, attesting to the large expenditure. In 2011, the car underwent an engine and overdrive overhaul by James Black Restorations. Previous work has included a new cylinder head and a complete re-wiring. Chassis GUL 41, wearing the number ‘CYU 376’, is accompanied by the original owner’s handbook, a collection of invoices and old MOTs. Additionally, it includes the buff continuation logbook, chassis card records, the owner’s handbook and the current V5C. Running well when inspected for the photography session, this well-documented and cherished example comes to sale with a sensible estimate. Registration No: LF53 ONO Chassis No: WP0ZZZ99Z35608699 MOT: January 2026Presented in the appealing combination of Silver with a Red interiorDisplaying just c.40,250 miles from new, corroborated by the MOT HistoryFitted with later 997 five spoke alloy wheelsThe first truly new Porsche 911 since the model’s inception in 1963, the 996-series upset quite a few marque traditionalists when it was launched thirty-four years later. Although, lighter, faster, more aerodynamic and better handling than the outgoing 993-series, the newcomer was pilloried for its ‘fried egg’ headlights (shared with the entry level Boxster), re-designed interior and water-cooled 3.4 litre engine. A response to ever-tightening emissions regulations, the latter developed 300bhp and 258lbft of torque (making it considerably more potent than its air-cooled 3.6 litre predecessor) and was allied to manual or automatic transmission. Introduced for the 2002 model year, the second generation 996 (a.k.a the 996.2) sported 911-specific headlights which were only shared with the Turbo model together with re-profiled front and rear bumpers. Inside, it gained such niceties as fold out cupholders and a glovebox. The engine grew to 3.6 litres with its increased 320bhp / 273lbft outputs prompting the Tiptronic variants to be fitted with a stronger Mercedes-Benz 722.6 automatic transmission (utilised by several AMG models). The 996.2 was able to boast a stiffer bodyshell too, to the benefit of handling / roadholding. Available in Coupe, Targa and Convertible guises, all were capable of daily use but boasted near 180mph top speeds. Finished in the handsome combination of Silver with Red leather upholstery, chassis WP0ZZZ99Z3S608699 is understood to have covered a mere 40,000 miles from new. A rear-wheel drive 996.2 model fitted with the larger engine and stronger Mercedes-Benz Tiptronic transmission, it further boasts a sunroof and slightly later 997-series alloy wheels. The MOT history corroborates the notably low mileage, while a HPi check includes the following note: 'Category N Insurance Loss. No Structural Damage and Repairable - Insurer Decided Not to Repair.' Given the price of certain Porsche parts, it would have been surprisingly easy to ‘write off’ the 911 back in July 2018 when the marker was issued. Little used of late, the 2+2-seater passed its most recent MOT test on 17th January 2025 at an indicated 40,240 miles with ‘no advisories’. A landmark model in 911 evolution, interest in the 996-series grows year on year. Needless to say, ‘LF53 ONO’ would carry a considerably higher guide price were it not for its 2018 misadventure. Offered for sale with V5C Registration Document and MOT history. For more information, please contact: Lucas Gomersall lucas.gomersall@handh.co.uk 07484 082430

Registration No: RT07 AML Chassis No: SCFBE04B88GD08515 MOT: December 2025Desirable V8 Vantage Roadster presented in Onyx Black with matching Obsidian Black leather interiorBoasts desirable factory options including Bluetooth, cruise control, Aston Martin Premium Audio, heated memory seats and power-fold memory mirrorsOffered having been subject to much recent expenditureFollowing the unveiling of the AMV8 Vantage concept car in 2003 at the North American International Auto Show, the production version, known as the V8 Vantage was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in 2005 for the 2006 model year. Featuring bonded aluminium structure for strength and lightness, the V8 Vantage was initially powered by a 4.3-litre quad-cam 32-valve V8 which produced 380bhp and propelled the car to 60mph in just 4.9 seconds, with a top speed of 175mph and benefited from a 49/51 front/rear weight distribution due to its front mid-mounted engine with rear-mounted transaxle. Later in 2006, Aston introduced their automated manual gearbox option, ‘sportshift’. Sportshift added electro-hydraulic control to the existing Vantage 6-speed manual gearbox to offer improved shift times and replaced the conventional manual gear lever with push button controls and paddles on the steering wheel. The Vantage was an immediate success. Some estimate by the time the car was first shown, some dealers had as much as a three-year waiting list and the car was one of only two cars added to BBC Top Gear’s ‘DB9 Section’ mini fridge, reserved for cars even cooler than ‘Sub Zero’. The car would later go on to receive Jeremy Clarkson’s 2005 Best Sounding Car of the Year, and Coolest Car of the Year. Nowadays, the V8 Vantage is still considered one of the best-looking cars of all time and has become an undisputed modern classic.Manufactured in 2007 and first registered on the 22nd October 2007, this gorgeous Aston is presented in Onyx Black with matching Obsidian Black interior. ‘AE57 KVT’ is a desirable Roadster with the much-loved sportshift gearbox. Showing just c.74,000 miles warranted miles from new, this particular example boasts desirable factory options including Bluetooth, cruise control, Aston Martin Premium Audio, heated memory seats and power-fold memory mirrors. It is understood that the car was first supplied by Stratstone of Wilmslow Aston Martin and there are a total of seven Aston Martin main dealer service stamps on file with the latest services performed by Quirks Car Company and latterly Dorset Sports Car, Aston Martin Specialists. There are seven previous owners recorded on the V5C Registration Document.Included with the vehicle are a number of documents including the original handbook, as well as a large folder containing invoices for other services and works carried out. The car also comes accompanied by original Tracker fobs and the vendor rates the car as ‘very good’ all round, with it evidently having been well cared for throughout its life.PLEASE NOTE: The registration number shown in the images is not included in the sale, the registration on the car is 'RT07 AML'. Registration No: ESV 934 Chassis No: 5562133378 MOT: ExemptBelieved all original example that still wears its livery of Metallic Green over Light Green plain broad-cloth upholsteryImported to the UK in 1984 and then laid up in dry storage until nowOffered as an exciting non-running projectDisplaying a c.25,837 miles on the odometer (not warranted)Styling and horsepower were the watchwords of '50s American car design and no examples epitomised the thinking more than the voluptuous Harley Earl-penned Cadillacs. For the lower, sleeker body of the Series 62 model introduced in 1953, the effect of the distinctive tailfins that had been the company's hallmark since 1948 were heightened by: a redesigned grille with heavier integral bumper and tapered dagmar-style bumper guards, prominent headlamp eyebrows, smoothly curved one-piece rear window and a fresh design of full-size chrome wheel trim. Cadillac changed their grille design every year, but in 1955, the grille was redesigned with wider spaces between the blades and the parking lamps were repositioned directly below the headlights. On the sides of the body the rub-rail moldings formed a right angle with the vertical trim on the rear doors or fenders. Built for the 1955 model year, little is known of the early history of chassis number 5562133378, but evidence suggests that the car spent its early life around the Philadelphia, PA area thanks to a Keystone Automobile Club sticker on the rear valence. The vendor and long-term current owner discovered this remarkably original car for sale on a trip to the US in the early 1980s and imported it back home to the UK via the Liverpool docks. When the Cadillac arrived, it was immediately registered in the UK as 'ESV 934' and driven back from Liverpool to its long-term home in East London before immediately being laid up in dry storage until late December 2024 when the decision was made by the vendor to sell it. The storage conditions have done wonders to preserve the car in its original Metallic Green paint scheme and the original duo-tone Green broad-cloth interior has also survived intact (albeit with some small repairs to perform where 70-year-old stitching has let go). Now offered as a very exciting project, 'ESV 934' is described by the vendor as being 'surely the most original example of its type in the UK which remains very solid'. We are sure that any prospective purchaser would be hard pressed to decide whether to sympathetically recommission the mechanical parts and run it in 'oily rag' guise or to use this un-messed with example to conduct a full restoration. To be offered without reserve, this Elvis-era '55 'Caddy' is supplied with UK V5C and registration plates, hub caps and rear-wheel spats, original jack and a charming period set of snow chains in their original Allstate box. Registration No: EX 6915 Chassis No: D236 MOT: ExemptJAP-engined V-twin MorganSubject to a comprehensive body and engine overhaul in 2003Affectionately known as 'Castrol' and previously displayed at the Haynes International Motor MuseumIn need of light recommissioningAn ingenious concept, HFS Morgan built his first three-wheeler in 1909. Based around a tubular steel frame, its low centre of gravity and advanced 'sliding pillar' independent front suspension endowed it with excellent road-holding. Progressively developed, the single rear-wheel-driven platform played host to a variety of JAP, Matchless, Blackburne, Anzani and Ford powerplants over the years (though, the prototype used a Peugeot unit). Fearsome competition cars, Morgan three-wheelers driven by the likes of HFS himself, Clive Lones and Harold Beart acquitted themselves well on race circuits and trial stages alike (Mrs Gwenda Stewart recorded 115.66mph during a record run at Montlhery in 1930). An evolution of the JAP powered Aero model, the Super Sports appeared in 1927. By 1933 Morgan's three-wheeler chassis could be ordered with four types of body, namely: Super Sports, Sports Two-Seater, Sports Family and Family. The Super Sports was notable for its chromium-plated exhaust pipes that run the length of the body. Interest in Morgans of this period has never waned and, if anything, increased in recent times - the company's inspired decision to create a modern three-wheeler having brought the early cars to the attention of a new audience.Built in 1933 and fitted from new with an 1100cc water-cooled JAP V-twin engine, little is known of the early history of chassis D236. However, a note from a previous owner suggests that the sporting three-wheeler was laid up during World War II and remained off the road until 1952, when it was subject to a rebuild and registered as ‘EX 6915’ which has been retained to this day. Evidence suggests that the car was used for racing during the years between its first rebuild and acquisition by the previous owner in 2010, and a recent chance sighting of a photograph of the car at a sporting event was found by our specialist hanging on the wall at the Fox & Hounds pub near Godstone, Surrey attesting to this.A note on file from the previous owner shows that the car was subject to a second complete overhaul in 2003 and painted in the current colour scheme of Castrol Green & Red, which resulted in the two-seater becoming fittingly known as ‘Castrol’. Upon acquisition, it was noted by the previous owner that the JAP engine was fitted with a racing camshaft, which was swapped back to a standard camshaft to make it more usable on the road, along with the fitment of electronic ignition and a new Amal carburettor. Such was the standard of ‘Castrol’, that in 2019 it was chosen by the Haynes International Motor Museum to be on exhibition with several other Morgans to represent the marque. Unfortunately, the previous owner’s age meant that his collection of Morgans ended up being laid-up for several years and when they needed to be sold off the vendor stepped in and purchased ‘Castrol’ and a more modern 2012 stablemate as non-running projects. A significant lack of time now means that both cars will be sold at our Buxton auction and are both offered 'as found' by the vendor in non-running condition in need of mechanical work, although it is noted by the vendor that both cars’ engines turn over and roll freely. The vendor has also noted that the bodywork is very straight, although cosmetically the paint and chrome has suffered from storage and may need some work if perfection is sought.Seldom do these pre-war three-wheelers get offered at this price level as they remain incredibly sought after. We feel that ‘Castrol’ would make a very rewarding project for any prospective purchaser. It is offered with a history 'write-up' from the previous owner and its UK V5C Registration Document. Registration No: BRF 298J Chassis No: 1S50447 MOT: ExemptOne of just 2,116 right-hand drive examples and fitted with the desirable manual gearboxMatching chassis and engine numbersOffered with a comprehensive history file including the Jaguar Heritage CertificateDisplaying c.28,000 recorded milesLast of the line, the Jaguar E-type Series III was introduced in 1971. Longer, wider and more comfortable than its predecessors, the newcomer blurred the lines between sports car and grand tourer. Powered by a turbine-smooth all-alloy SOHC 5343cc V12 engine allied to either Jaguar four-speed manual or Borg Warner three-speed automatic transmission, the refined manner in which it performed (contemporary road tests spoke of 0-60mph in 6.4 seconds and 150mph) simply blew road testers away. Benefitting from a broader track, ventilated disc brakes, power-assisted rack and pinion steering and Lucas transistorised ignition, the Series III was visually distinguished by its 'egg-crate' grille, flared wheel arches and purposeful quad-exhaust pipes. Available in Fixed-Head Coupe (2+2-seater) or Roadster (2-seater) guises, it remained in volume production until 1974 (though, a special commemorative run of forty-nine Black-painted roadsters was released the following year).According to the Jaguar Heritage Trust Certificate on file, chassis 1S50447 was manufactured on the 14th September 1971 and despatched on 6th October 1971 to its first owner via supplying dealer Stanley Harvey & Co and registered as ‘DOI 3113’. Originally specified with a manual gearbox and liveried in Light Blue over a Dark Blue interior, the 12-cylinder E-Type was PDI’d on the 26th October 1971 and delivered to its first owner recorded on its accompanying green logbook, a Mr Thomas Parsons of Holywood, County Down. Mr Parsons only kept the big cat for four years before the next owner took custodianship in 1975 and a notable amount of the original service history on file is credited to this period. Following acquisition by the second owner, the car remained in Northern Ireland until the late 1980s and it was during this time that it caught the eye of esteemed Jaguar historian Philip Porter, who would feature it in his published guide ‘Original Jaguar E-Type’ as the feature car for the Series III chapter.Having left Northern Ireland and now in the custodianship of its Birmingham based fourth owner, 1S50447 was registered as ‘BRF 289J’ and subjected to a comprehensive overhaul which included the independent rear suspension, front suspension and a repaint into the Opalescent Silver Blue Metallic that it presents in today. Following the restoration work, a local pottery maker and classic car collector Mr Tams purchased the 2+2-seater and continued in the same vein with its servicing record, and a note in the history file explains a speedometer swap due to a faulty original instrument at just 19,400 miles. Staying in Mr Tams’ collection until his passing in 2001, the Jaguar was sold via the now defunct ‘The E-Type Centre’ of Birmingham to a Mr Gordon of Ealing, London and was marketed as ‘the best V12 2+2 we’ve ever had’ which is attested to by an accompanying sales document. Cherished by Mr Gordon for some 17 years, the Grand Tourer was used sparingly when he was in the UK, being put into storage for short periods when he was abroad and again adding to the extensive maintenance history when in use until ultimately it was stored from 2007 until 2018 when it was moved onto its previous owner. The previous owner only kept ‘BRF 289J’ until 2021, when it was acquired by the vendor through esteemed E-Type specialists, ‘E-Type UK’ of Kent. The current owner and vendor has seldom had the opportunity to enjoy this low-mileage Coupé, and it has covered only a further c.2,000 miles for events such as the Goodwood Revival and Le Mans Classic since acquisition inbetween long periods of dry-storage in Hampshire. Notably during the vendor’s ownership, however, with long continental tours on his mind, he opted to have a period looking air-conditioning unit newly fitted to make warmer climes more comfortable.During our recent photography appointment, we noted that the mighty 12-cylinder power unit fired up eagerly upon a flick of key and that the clutch and gearbox feel in fine fettle. The vendor pointed out that the paintwork remains in overall ‘good shape’ although several panels are now suffering from areas of micro blistering. The rear suspension unit appears to be sitting up very well although the front suspension is due some attention, displaying a noticeable ‘nose-down’ attitude in comparison to earlier photographs. The interior trim appears to be mostly the original fittings with obvious restoration work having been carried out to achieve perfection where necessary – and we feel that a delightful patina is now exhibited upon the leather seats. The recorded odometer reading at the time of consignment was 8,164 miles and with the original having been changed at 19,433 miles we understand that the total mileage is c.27,600 miles. Now offered for sale without reserve, ‘BRF 289J’ is surely an unrepeatable opportunity to obtain a genuine low mileage car with favoured specification and one of the most comprehensive history files we have encountered for its kind. Supplied with its Heritage Certificate, V5C, numerous receipts for works since new, MOT history, green logbook and original book pack including stamped British Leyland service book, any genuine Jaguar enthusiast should jump at the opportunity! Registration No: NG03 MOG Chassis No: SA9M3WV2EBP202045 MOT: ExpiredOnly one registered keeper and displaying less than 10,000 miles from newOffered in need of recommissioning after a period of lay upTo be sold complete with private registration 'NG03 MOG'The Morgan Motor Company owes its existence to three-wheelers. Introduced at the 2011 Geneva Salon after a hiatus in production of almost sixty years, the last generation Three-Wheeler was delightfully ‘old school’ in its design ethos. Side-stepping all sorts of legislative headaches by being classified as a motorcycle rather than a motorcar, the two-seater was powered by a S&S 1983cc OHV V-twin engine allied to Mazda five-speed manual transmission. The tubular chassis frame was equipped with all round independent suspension, rack and pinion steering and clothed in aluminium. Reputedly capable of 0-60mph in 6 seconds and 115mph, the Three Wheeler was praised by the contemporary motoring press for its precise steering, agile handling and the enormous grin it typically put on a driver’s face! Morgan offered a choice of twelve exterior colours and thirty interior ones but were happy to undertake bespoke commissions too. Huge fun unless gridlocked in a thunderstorm, the model became something of an instant classic with demand outstripping supply for much of its nine-year production life (2012-2021). Purchased new by its sole registered keeper on 6th April 2012, chassis SA9M3WV2EBP202045 joined an impressive Morgan collection which also included the 1933 Super Sports in this same auction (LOT 66). The vendor acquired both three-wheelers as being in need of recommissioning but other commitments have prevented him from returning them to the road. Indeed, he cites continuing pressures on his time as the reason for sale. Like its much older sibling, ‘NG03 MOG’ has not been run for several years. However, its engine and brakes are said to be free. With just one registered keeper from new and a low mileage of circa 10,000, it is hoped but not guaranteed that recommissioning the Morgan will be a straightforward exercise. An endearing modern classic and surely a worthwhile project? For more information, please contact: Lucas Gomersall lucas.gomersall@handh.co.uk 07484 082430
