A 1970 Triumph Trophy TR6, registration number FMK 779J, green. This matching numbers UK supplied bike is fitted with a full Avon fairing. It has had two previous owners plus the supplying dealer. The last keeper having owned the Triumph since May 1980 has recently retired from riding. The recorded mileage is just over 62000 miles, which is believed to be genuine. An early 18th Century silver pair cased verge pocket watch by Lucas De Caux of Norwich, the silver champleve dial with concentric chapter ring, Roman and Arabic numerals interspersed between textured panels, mock pendulum visible through shaped sector at VI signed "Decaux Norwich" below and balance regulation at VIII, with blued steel "Beetle and Poker" hands, to the verge escapement with fusee, with balance below the dial, pierced and scroll Egyptian style pillars, the back plate finely engraved with a winged bird, leaf scroll ornament and Lucas Decaux, Norwich, in plain silver pair case, 57mm diameter (gross weight 128 grammes), (case not hallmarked - circa 1710) Note: Lucas Decaux of Norwich recorded working prior to 1718, although other authorities give his date as circa 1700 Provenance: Purchased at Christie's in June 1992
