A Gentleman's 18ct Gold Automatic Chronometer Wristwatch, by Omega, Model Constellation, 34mm diameter, with inscription to rear, silver dial with gold baton numerals and date window, on non-conforming leather strap, in fitted box with paperwork The watch is in its original Omega Constellation box, it has the Omega certificate of high precision, the international guarantee in the original owner's name, dated 27.9.68, and the Omega instruction book. The watch presents in good overall condition, showing wear commensurate with age and very light usage. There are some slight marks to the exterior of the case but these are nothing that you would not expect on a watch of this age. The crystal is very good, clear  and free from any significant marks or blemishes, likewise the dial is free from any stains or evidence of rubbing by the hands. The hands appear original, the date window is clear and concise. The rear of the watch bears numerous marks through age and usage but this should polish out. The watch winds, runs and sets but should be regarded as untested. The date cycles correctly and the winder stops at all the tenths. The strap appears to be after-market and it does not have the Omega buckle. Prospective buyers are strongly advised to study all images in the Dropbox carefully prior to bidding as the images form part of the condition report.
